Celebrate the magic of Christmas with a sparkling two-day festive escape to the English Riviera. This relaxed winter break is all about twinkling lights, coastal charm and a touch of seasonal nostalgia.
On Sunday, we journey to the seaside town of Paignton, where we’ll check in to the comfortable ibis Styles Paignton Hotel for a one night staying on a bed and breakfast basis. After check in, the festive fun really begins with a magical ride on the Dartmouth Steam Railway’s much-loved Train of Lights. Watch as the vintage carriages come alive with colour, music and festive cheer, before continuing the evening with a scenic Bay of Lights tour, showcasing the dazzling illuminations along the beautiful coastline.
After a restful night, Monday morning is yours to enjoy at leisure. Take a winter stroll along Paignton seafront, browse the shops, or relax with a coffee and enjoy the sea views. In the afternoon, we’ll rejoin the coach and head for home, bringing a festive short break to a cosy and memorable close.

Itinerary
Day 1
Hop aboard your coach at your local departure point and we’ll head south to the beautiful Devon coast. We’re due to arrive in Paignton in the early afternoon when you can check into your comfortable hotel before reboarding the coach. We then head for a memorable steam railway journey on the Train of Lights followed by a scenic tour of the Bay of Lights. Return to your hotel later in the evening for a good night's sleep.
Day 2
A relaxing breakfast this morning and time at leisure for you to explore Paignton. Whatever you do, be ready to set off for the homebound journey m the afternoon, full of happy memories.
