If you love being beside the seaside, no matter what the time of year, then this super festive break is for you. In the run up to Christmas, many of our hotels go all out on fabulous live cabaret entertainment as the nights draw in and this weekend is no exception! We stay in upgraded superior bedrooms at the popular and centrally located Riviera Hotel, well-known for its incredible live entertainment, bingo and indoor swimming pool. The nightly entertainment will have featured performances from the best tributes found on the English Riviera.
So relax with friends or your loved ones at the bar, enjoy great homestyle meals and entertainment in the festively decorated ballroom. If you're feeling a little more independently minded, then our hotel is well located in the heart of Torquay, which makes this lovely resort really easy to explore on foot.
The iconic palm trees could fool you into thinking you were in the Mediterranean. The coast of Torquay is scattered with beautiful piers and russet-red cliffs. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade and take in the relaxed atmosphere. Make time to walk up the steps of Royal Terrace Gardens. Remember to take in the amazing sea views across the bay at night with the lights reflecting onto the sea.

Itinerary
Day 1
After joining your coach, head towards the lovely English Riviera and Torquay with convenient coffee/lunch stops along the way. On arrival at the Riviera Hotel take time to settle in and enjoy your first delicious dinner and night of live entertainment.
Day 2
After a filling breakfast it's time to head off to historic Exeter with its beautiful Cathedral, bustling quayside and Princesshay Shopping Centre for some great Christmas shopping opportunities. Return to your hotel in time for your evening meal and tonight's great entertainment, an amazing tribute night when you can sing along with the stars to your heart's content!
Day 3
After a final tasty breakfast it is time to say farewell to Torquay today. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, relax as you continue homewards full of great festive memories with newly made friends.

Riviera Hotel Torquay
The Riviera Hotel in the heart of Torquay is the perfect place to enjoy good food, comfortable bedrooms, cabaret entertainment, superb indoor pool* and friendly customer service. Its great location is just a few minutes’ walk from Torquay’s award winning beaches, sparkling blue sea and all that the resort has to offer. The accommodation comprises 140 well-appointed bedrooms with tea & coffee making facilities and all Leisuretime guests will be accommodated in superior rooms when staying for 2 nights or more on selected dates! Enjoy free entertainment to suit all ages on most evenings, including bingo, quizzes, professional cabarets and dancing. WiFi is available in public areas. There are no ground floor bedrooms however there is a lift, although some rooms still have steps to access. Unfortunately, the nature and age of the building means that the hotel cannot easily accommodate guests in wheelchairs, using mobility scooters or with limited mobility so please contact us if you have any concerns in this respect prior to booking.
