The hotel is well located in the heart of Torquay, which makes this lovely resort really easy to explore on foot. The iconic palm trees could fool you into thinking you were in the Mediterranean. The coast of Torquay is scattered with beautiful piers and russet-red cliffs. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade and take in the relaxed atmosphere. Make time to walk up the steps of Royal Terrace Gardens. Remember to take in the amazing sea views across the bay at night with the lights reflecting onto the sea. You'll have ample time to explore and relax and maybe enjoy an ice cream on the beach.
Spend all of your time in Torquay or join us on our included excursions to discover the lovely seaside towns of Sidmouth & Exmouth, and the charming fishing village of Brixham. We also include a stop in the market town of Tiverton on our outward journey.

Itinerary
Day 1
Join your coach this morning, and head towards the lovely English Riviera and your resort of Torquay. We make a stop along the way in the charming historic market town of Tiverton. Perhaps visit the Pannier Market with fabulous handmade crafts and a host of fantastic trade stands full of interesting goods.
On arrival at the Riviera Hotel there is time to settle in. Enjoy a drink in the bar to meet friends and fellow travellers, and make sure you have worked up an appetite for evening meal, followed by fantastic entertainment that your central hotel is so famous for.
Day 2 & 3
Enjoy hearty traditional English breakfast each day. You can spend all of your time in and around Torquay to make the most of your fantastic seaside location. Alternatively join us on our great INCLUDED excursions to explore the very best of the Devon coast to Sidmouth & Exmouth, as well as a visit to the traditional Devon fishing village of Brixham perched on the bottom edge of Torbay.
Back in Torquay, take time to explore, whether it's a stroll along the promenade or harbour, enjoy some traditional fish & chips if you have room, or track down the mysterious connections with the enigmatic Agatha Christie! Return to your hotel in time for your evening meal and great entertainment including an amazing tribute night when you can sing along with the stars to your heart's content!
Day 4
After a final tasty breakfast, we will say farewell to the English Riviera today. Board your comfortable coach and after stopping for a coffee/lunch break, relax and continue homewards with your great memories from your weekend away.
Tiverton

Brixham

Riviera Hotel Torquay
The Riviera Hotel in the heart of Torquay is the perfect place to enjoy good food, comfortable bedrooms, cabaret entertainment, superb indoor pool* and friendly customer service. Its great location is just a few minutes’ walk from Torquay’s award winning beaches, sparkling blue sea and all that the resort has to offer. The accommodation comprises 140 well-appointed bedrooms with tea & coffee making facilities and all Leisuretime guests will be accommodated in upgraded bedrooms** when staying for 2 nights or more on selected dates! Enjoy free entertainment to suit all ages on most evenings, including bingo, quizzes, professional cabarets and dancing in the fabulous Show Bar. The Sports Bar boasts numerous large screen TVs showing different sports events all day. WiFi is available in public areas. Meals are self-service buffet style and assistance is available if required.
There are no ground floor bedrooms however there is a lift, although some rooms still have steps to access. Unfortunately, the nature and age of the building means that the hotel cannot easily accommodate guests in wheelchairs, using mobility scooters or with limited mobility so please contact us if you have any concerns in this respect prior to booking.
Single rooms have a £5 per night supplement and are usually smaller rooms with single beds and are available on request. Single travellers paying a larger supplement will be in a double room for sole occupancy.
