The Lawn offers a lovely green space for picnics and a stroll, and the Brook is home to the towns famous black swans which have been residents in Dawlish since the early 1900's. The South Devon Railway Line runs through the town, and is considered one of the most scenic railway lines in Britain between Exeter and Newton Abbot with wonderful views along the Exe Estuary as it travels just a few metres from the shoreline.Dartmoor
