Enjoy a fabulous, great value holiday on one of the UK's most popular holiday islands. The Isle of Wight may be just five miles off the mainland, but it’s a different world. Nowhere in the country can match it for geographical variety in its 23 mile long and 13 mile wide, stretch of land. You will find quiet fishing harbours and quaint towns and villages, along with stretches of golden sand and unspoilt, award-winning beaches. More than half the Isle of Wight is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and with spectacular scenery and a rich royal heritage, the island has plenty to offer all year round. Our charming seaside town base of Sandown, nestled on the island's eastern coast, beckons with its captivating blend of natural beauty, history and fun. Whether you're seeking a tranquil beach retreat, an adventurous exploration of the island's treasures, or a journey through its rich history, this break offers a short yet memorable visit.

We'll whisk you away and over the water on the short crossing from the mainland to then arrive at your hotel in Shanklin, the comfortable Ocean View. This hotel enjoys sweeping ocean views, great food and at least one night of live entertainment.

Make sure you join us as we enjoy a Diamond Isle Discovery Tour whilst also exploring Ryde and Cowes.

An ideal choice for:

* Anyone looking for a great value weekend by the sea
* People curious to explore this popular holiday island at a great price
* Traditional seaside lovers looking for a relaxing long weekend break
* Lovers of picture-perfect settings and scenery

Day 1

Join your comfortable coach at your convenient local pick up point this morning, and head to the south coast, with coffee/lunch stops along the way. We take the short ferry crossing to the lovely Isle of Wight. On arrival at your hotel in the popular town of Shanklin there will be time to settle in and relax or perhaps take a stroll for a breath of sea air along the pretty prom. Make sure you have time for a drink in the bar before enjoying your first evening meal.

Ryde & Cowes

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationThe resort of Ryde is a welcoming seaside town on the north east coast of the Isle of Wight. Ryde's beaches have soft sand and plenty of space particularly at low tide, and the Pier, at nearly half a mile, is one of the oldest and longest piers in the country. Next to the pier is the hovercraft terminal with links to the mainland in less than 10 minutes. Along the Esplanade you will find colourful flowerbeds, ten-pin bowling, marina, bowling greens and a small fun fair. The bustling main street has lots of unique shops and eateries flowing downhill to the seafront, making this an ideal visit for everyone.

Cowes, famed for its professional sailing, stunning Victorian architecture and vibrant festival atmosphere is one of the most popular towns on the Isle of Wight to visit year-round. There are stunning sea views over the Solent to the mainland beyond. Find a cosy spot to sit and watch the world go by with a hot chocolate...
