Our hotel is about 15 minutes by foot to Princes Street and a quick walk from Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. Of course, we will have breakfast and dinner included but don't forget to get out and about in the evening... Edinburgh by night is a real treat!

Situated on the banks of the Water of Leith in the West End of the city, the Britannia Hotel Edinburgh is conveniently located within easy reach of many of the city’s major attractions. The popular shops of Princes Street are just 15 minutes’ walk away. The Hotel features 178 well-appointed guest bedrooms, with room facilities along with its own restaurant and bar.
After joining the coach at one of our local pick-up points, we head north and head for Scotland with convenient coffee/tea stops en route. We expect to arrive in the Scottish capital in the late afternoon. Check-in to your central hotel, unpack and maybe enjoy a pre-dinner drink before settling in for dinner. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy.
Enjoy a tasty traditional Scottish breakfast every morning along with free time to explore on your own or relax. We've included tickets for Edinburgh's Hop on Hop Off sightseeing bus too for you. In addition, make sure you join us on our fabulous INCLUDED visits to Edinburgh's royal treasures including Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood House and the Royal Yacht Britannia . Return to the hotel every evening to enjoy delicious dinners which are included in your package.
After a final breakfast, it is sadly time to make our way home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, we continue homewards.

The Palace of Holyroodhouse is Her Majesty The Queen’s official residence in Scotland. Standing at the end of Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile, this fine palace is the home of Scottish royal history. Visitors can explore 14 magnificent historic and State Apartments, the romantic ruins of the 12th-century Holyrood Abbey and remarkable royal gardens, all with a complimentary audio tour. Best known as the home of Mary, Queen of Scots,the Palace was the setting for many dramatic episodes in her short reign. Today, the State Apartments are used regularly by The Queen for State ceremonies and official entertaining. The Queen’s Gallery also hosts a programme of changing exhibitions from the Royal Collection.

Edinburgh Castle is a world famous Scottish icon and part of the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh’s World Heritage Site. It was recently voted top UK Heritage Attraction in the British Travel Awards and is Scotland’s number one paid-for tourist attraction. This most famous of Scottish castles has a complex building history. The oldest part, St Margaret’s Chapel, dates from the 12th century; the Great Hall was erected by James IV around 1510; the Half Moon Battery by the Regent Morton in the late 16th century; and the Scottish National War Memorial after the First World War. The castle houses the Honours (Crown Jewels) of Scotland, the Stone of Destiny, the famous 15th century gun Mons Meg, the One O’ Clock Gun and the National War Museum of Scotland.
