Itinerary

Day 1

Join your coach this morning as we make our way to the Cotswolds Designer Outlet for a bit of shopping. From there we head into the Cotswolds with its picture-postcard villages and the picturesque rolling hills overlooking ancient honey-coloured period buildings. We will make a stop or two including historic Broadway, known as the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds' with its pretty High Street lined with horse chestnut trees and mixture of period houses and picturesque honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages.

Later, travel on to your overnight Swindon hotel with time to relax and enjoy your included dinner.

Day 2

After a hearty breakfast, say farewell to your hotel and head to the stunning city of Bath for time to explore at your leisure. Whether you want to get lost in Austen, visit a Roman Bath or take a rooftop thermal bath in the modern spa, there are choices galore. For a tasty treat try a Sally Lunn Bunn serving the same delicious recipe since 1680, or shop until you drop in the fantastic range of shops and boutiques that line the beautiful mellow stone streets

Please note: on occasions, the itinerary may be reversed to do Bath on Day 1, Cotswolds Day 2.

Bath

INCLUDED Visitor Destination

Built for pleasure and relaxation, beautiful Bath has been a wellbeing destination since Roman times. The waters are still a big draw, both at the ancient Roman Baths and the thoroughly modern Thermae Bath Spa, which houses the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain you can bathe in. The compact, visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat and drink, plus some of the finest independent shops in Britain. Immerse yourself in Bath’s remarkable collection of museums and galleries, while admiring Bath's stunning honey-coloured Georgian architecture that is straight from a Jane Austen novel. For a special treat enjoy the grandeur of the world-famous Pump Room for afternoon tea, and a sample of the healing Bath waters taken by the city's famous residents for hundreds of years. For something simpler but just as historic try a delicious Sally Lunn Bunn served in the famous eating house or to take away, made to the same recipe since 1680!
