Tenby

INCLUDED Visitor Destination

Tenby is probably the most iconic and well-visited seaside town in Wales. Immersed in ancient history, it is a uniquely attractive seaside resort with pastel coloured buildings and narrow streets surrounded by an imposing medieval stone wall. Tenby has seen many changes through time, but it has been on the leisure map for over 200 years. With all that experience, the people of Tenby certainly know how to offer each and every visitor an unforgettable time. There are plenty of fascinating and quirky shops in the town specialising in locally produced items and plenty of walks are available within the surrounding areas across the many beautiful beaches and the famous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

It is an enchanting destination with a warm atmosphere and its timeless appeal lures holidaymakers back year after year. Whether you enjoy people watching, relaxing in a serene setting or taking in the coastal walks, you can be sure Tenby has plenty to offer.

Did you know, Tenby's Welsh name, Dynbych y Pysgod translates as little fortress of the fish and reflects its origins as a coastal fort!

Pembroke

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationA Norman settlement built on a rocky promontory with a main street running along a ridge that ends in one of Wales' most impressive castles, the colourful town of Pembroke really does live its history on its sleeve. Make your way along the sunny high street with its cheery, colourful, mismatched houses and let the historic layout draw you towards the castle walls. Stop for tea and homemade cake at at one of the many cafes.  Afterwards, perhaps amble back through town, stopping in some little shops and galleries along the way. Pembroke really does has something for everyone.

St David's

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationSt Davids is named after the patron saint of Wales, and the smallest city in Britain with a population of just over 1,600. City status was awarded in 1995 although the roots of St Davids go back to the 5th century when St David himself lived here. Designated as a conservation area by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in 1972, the magnificent cathedral at St Davids dates back to the 12th century, although several older cathedrals were built before that on the same site. Unfortunately, St Davids was prone to Viking attacks, being so close to the sea. The Vikings destroyed several of the older structures. Modern-day St Davids is a quaint and character-full place much loved by everyone who knows and visits it.
