Itinerary

Day 1

Join your coach this morning and travel to Cheltenham Racecourse to join your historic steam train for a wonderful, scenic journey into the Cotswolds. Arrive in Broadway, one of the prettiest Cotswold villages and enjoy time to look around. Rejoin your coach and head on to your comfortable hotel for a hearty dinner and a chance to share stories of your day.

Day 2

After a hearty breakfast, enjoy a great day of sightseeing as we travel to Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick. You'll have plenty of time to explore both before returning to your hotel for dinner and a good night's sleep.

Day 3

After a final tasty breakfast, we bid farewell to our hotel and head for beautiful Sudeley Castle. Spend time exploring this wonderful castle before rejoining your coach in the afternoon for the homeward journey.

Stratford-upon-Avon

Delve into the Bard's life and legacy with a visit to Shakespeare's Birthplace. Take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque streets of the town centre, adorned with charming Tudor buildings, and visit the historic Holy Trinity Church, where Shakespeare is buried. For a scenic perspective, embark on a tranquil River Avon cruise, meandering through the picturesque countryside and passing by some of the town's most iconic landmarks. Cotswolds Steam & Broadway

All aboard for a nostalgic journey through the heart of the Cotswolds on the heritage Gloucestershire to Warwickshire Steam Railway.

Step back in time as you board a beautifully restored vintage steam train at Cheltenham Racecourse and settle into your seat for a leisurely ride through some of England’s most picturesque countryside. As the locomotive gently chuffs along the tracks, you’ll be treated to sweeping views of rolling hills, patchwork fields and pretty villages that capture the timeless charm of this beautiful region.

Your journey ends in the delightful Cotswold village of Broadway, often described as the ‘Jewel of the Cotswolds’. Here, you’ll have time to wander along the historic high street lined with honey-stone cottages, browse its lovely independent shops and art galleries, or relax with a cup of tea in one of its inviting cafés. It’s a truly memorable day steeped in heritage and classic English charm.
