Penzance, Merazion & The Lizard Peninsula scenic tour

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationFamous for its pirates, well the singing variety anyway, Penzance is a historic port on the south facing shores of Mount's Bay. You’ll encounter all the salt-flecked history you’ll expect from its famous name – the piratey cobbled alleyways, the bobbing boats and dockside taverns – along with a vibrant local scene. At last you’ll feel like you’ve discovered authentic Cornwall.

Marazion is Cornwall's oldest town, and home to the two natural jewels of Mount's Bay and Marazion Marsh, home to hundreds of species of wildlife, from seals, dolphins and basking sharks to buzzards, sparrow hawks and starlings. any time of the year! It is also the home of the iconic St Michael’s Mount, two fabulous beaches and magical sea views. Enjoy a pasty while taking in the view of the bay or treat yourself to a sumptuous meal at one of the town's high-quality restaurants and cafes.

The Lizard Peninsula is the most southerly point of the British mainland. Stunningly beautiful at any time of the year, there is nowhere quite like it anywhere else in Britain. Almost surrounded by the sea, the peninsula stands alone from the rest of the county. Small cottages, thatched and whitewashed, cluster around tiny harbours. Colourful fishing boats, pulled up on the beach, bear testimony to the fact that these small communities still depend largely on the sea for their livelihood. The warm climate encourages the growth of sub-tropical plants, with 15 of Britain's rarest found here!
