Discover the world-famous Spalding Flower Parade, complete with decorated floats and trailers driving through the Lincolnshire market town.

The Spalding Flower Parade returns! The market town of Spalding was once famous across the globe for its annual Tulip Parade. The history of the Spalding Flower Parade is certainly a long one with its roots dating back to the 1920s. When the Jubilee in 1935 of King George V and Queen Mary coincided with the tulip crop, the event became huge. Each year the parade was the annual highlight and it drew crowds from all over the UK and beyond. Sadly, as the tulip industry fell into decline, so did the parade. However, after a decade-long break, the Flower Parade returned in 2023 and 2024's parade, with a 'Movies' theme, promises to be bigger and better than ever! The Flower Parade will bring decorated floats and trailers, marching bands and dancers and much more.

You'll also spend a day in the beautiful, historic city of Cambridge, nestled along the River Cam and renowned for its world-class university, fantastic architecture, charming cobbled streets, iconic landmarks and interesting shops and boutiques. Perhaps visit the University of Cambridge, marvelling at the architectural grandeur of colleges such as King's College and Trinity College. Stroll through the picturesque Backs, a tranquil riverside area with scenic views of the colleges. Immerse yourself in history at the Fitzwilliam Museum or explore the delightful Cambridge Botanic Garden. Why not take a leisurely punt along the River Cam, taking in the beauty of the city from a unique perspective!

We will also include a visit to Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, the world-famous medieval market town.
