Brooklands Museum

Re-live the thrills and glamour of speed and flight, from over 100 years of British history at Brooklands Museum.

Step back in time to the days of innovation, determination and record-breaking on the site of the world’s first racing circuit. Hear the stories of the pioneering men and women that shaped the world of motoring and aviation.

Brooklands Museum is on the site of the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit and displays a wide range of Brooklands-related motoring and aviation exhibits ranging from giant racing cars, motorcycles, and bicycles to a vast collection of civilian and military aircraft, including the Second World War Wellington Bomber and the only Concorde with public access in South East England.

Silverstone Experience

INCLUDED Visitor Destination

The task of turning a former Second World War RAF hangar into a state-of-the-art 4000m visitor attraction has been filled with challenges. It has taken over seven years and cost in excess of £20million to create a home for the important BRDC archive, and a hub for motor sport fans and families to explore racing at Silverstone.

Take a tour through the past, present and future of British motorsport and the history of the famous racing circuit. The Silverstone Experience is packed with hands-on activities and explanations of the engineering principles that underpin racing cars and motorcycles.

Climb into a replica Grand Prix car, practice your skills as an RAF pilot, try commentating on a race and get up close to winning Formula 1 cars and racing bikes. Go deeper and discover the science behind the sport in the engaging Tech Lab. Add to this a 360-degree cinema experience and outdoor track trail, and you’ve got a day to remember!
