Itinerary
Day 1
Join your comfortable coach at your convenient local pick up point this morning, and head to the south coast for your short ferry crossing to the lovely Isle of Wight. On arrival at your comfortable hotel in the popular resort of Shanklin there will be time to settle in and perhaps take a stroll for a breath of sea air along the cliff top or visit the cute old town with its quaint shops. Make sure you have time for a drink in the bar to meet new friends before enjoying your first evening meal and some great entertainment.
Days 2 to 4
Your centrally located hotel makes Shanklin easy to explore. You might like to browse the shops in the quaint old town or visit the lovely gardens of the Chine which lead down to the traditional sea front where an ice cream is good at any time of year! Enjoy tasty breakfasts every day and don't miss out on our INCLUDED excursions, all of which we think you're going to love. Return to the hotel every evening to enjoy lovely evening meals and a chat about the day with your fellow travellers.
Day 5
After a final hearty breakfast it is time to say farewell to the Isle of Wight today. Board your comfortable coach for the short crossing across the Solent, and a relaxing onward journey home full of lovely memories with your newly made friends.

Beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages, often hauled by 19th century locomotives, take visitors on a leisurely 10-mile journey through the island's unspoilt countryside. Inside the (stationary!) museum you will find displays of our Victorian and Edwardian carriages alongside a collection of our rare rolling stock, all preserved undercover and protected from the elements, allowing more time to restore other historic vehicles.
