Itinerary

Day 1

Join your comfortable coach at your convenient local pick up point this morning, and head to the south coast for your short ferry crossing to the lovely Isle of Wight. On arrival at your comfortable hotel in the popular resort of Shanklin there will be time to settle in and perhaps take a stroll for a breath of sea air along the cliff top or visit the cute old town with its quaint shops. Make sure you have time for a drink in the bar to meet new friends before enjoying your first evening meal.

Days 2 to 3

Your centrally located hotel makes Shanklin easy to explore. You might like to browse the shops in the quaint old town or visit the lovely gardens of the Chine which lead down to the traditional sea front where an ice cream is good at any time of year! Enjoy tasty breakfasts every day and don't miss out on our INCLUDED excursions, all of which we think you're going to love. Return to the hotel every evening to enjoy lovely evening meals and a chat about the day with your fellow travellers.

Day 4

After a final hearty breakfast it is time to say farewell to the Isle of Wight today. Board your comfortable coach for the short crossing across the Solent, and a relaxing onward journey home full of lovely memories with your newly made friends.

Ryde & Cowes

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationThe resort of Ryde is a welcoming seaside town on the north east coast of the Isle of Wight. Ryde's beaches have soft sand and plenty of space particularly at low tide, and the Pier, at nearly half a mile, is one of the oldest and longest piers in the country. Next to the pier is the hovercraft terminal with links to the mainland in less than 10 minutes. Along the Esplanade you will find colourful flowerbeds, ten-pin bowling, marina, bowling greens and a small fun fair. The bustling main street has lots of unique shops and eateries flowing downhill to the seafront, making this an ideal visit for everyone.

Cowes, famed for its professional sailing, stunning Victorian architecture and vibrant festival atmosphere is one of the most popular towns on the Isle of Wight to visit year-round. There are stunning sea views over the Solent to the mainland beyond. Find a cosy spot to sit and watch the world go by with a hot chocolate...

Godshill

Browse some of the fascinating craft shops offering local gifts and produce, enjoy a cream tea at one of the cute cafes, or visit the popular model village.

West Wight Highlights

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationWest Wight is the natural and beautiful least populated part of the Isle of Wight, and a must see for all visitors. With rolling countryside, tiny churches and hamlets and spectacular sea views there are fantastic photo opportunities.

Yarmouth town is located on the North-West of the island and acts as one of the gateways with one of the main ferry services operating from its harbour. This historic port town sits at the mouth of the River Yar and contains some of the oldest architecture on the Isle of Wight, including a 16th Century castle. Also visit Alum Bay, world famous for its multi-coloured sand cliffs and stunning views across the Solent.
