Our base for this tour is Drymen, a pretty village sitting in the hills at the western end of the Campsie Fells, overlooking the Endrick Water as it nears Loch Lomond. This popular tourist town has a long history. In the 18th and 19th centuries Drymen was a popular stopover for Highland cattle drovers. The beautiful parish was built in 1771 and just outside the village are the substantial ruins of Buchanan Castle, a former stronghold of the powerful Grahams of Montrose which dates back to the 17th century.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

A wee city with a big history, Stirling punches well above its weight for historic attractions and spectacular scenery, not to mention shopping, places to eat and exciting events. Enjoy the fabulous views from Stirling Castle across to the National Wallace Monument and then over to the mountain peaks of the Trossachs. Browse this compact city's range of bars, restaurants and shops and pick up some local treats whilst also enjoy the Victorian splendour of the Old Town.
Callander, the Trossachs & Lochs
Take a scenic drive through the stunning Trossachs National Park from our base in Aberfoyle up to the pretty town of Callander. You'll see some of Scotland’s most beautiful countryside including plunging glens, sprawling lochs and enchanting villages. We’ll pass the beautiful Loch Venacher, which is surrounded by stunning woodland and offers incredible views. There will be ample time for photo stops and for a good walk around Callander.
Overlooking the still waters of Loch Fyne, Inveraray is a traditional county town in Argyll. Established in 1745 by the 3rd Duke of Argyll, head of the powerful Clan Campbell, the town is an absolute set piece of Scottish Georgian architecture. Key buildings that are worth visiting include the neoclassical church, and Inveraray Jail and courthouse, now an award-winning museum that graphically recounts prison conditions from medieval times up until the 19th century. A short walk north of the New Town, the neo-Gothic Inveraray Castle remains the family home of the Dukes of Argyll. There are also the usual choice of great shops, bars and restaurants to explore and maybe enjoy a ‘wee dram’?
