This fabulous Scottish tour is packed with great excursions but won't feel hurried. From a leisurely cruise on Loch Lomond through to whisky tasting in Oban and a stroll around stunning Inverary Castle, this is a tour to be savoured.
Our base will be the lovely Esplanade Hotel in Dunoon. Located on the beachfront Esplanade, the location is not only an ideal base for our excursions but also a fabulous place from which to sit back and watch the world go by!

Itinerary
Day 1
Join your comfortable coach this morning and head north with convenient stops, crossing the border into bonnie Scotland and the charming town of Dunoon. On arrival take time to settle in to your comfortable hotel ready to sample the best in Scottish hospitality. Maybe take time for a wee dram at the bar before your first delicious dinner, with time to meet fellow travellers and make new friends before your adventure begins.Days 2 to 4
Enjoy a delicious Scottish breakfast each morning and be prepared to be amazed every day. There will be plenty of time to relax at your hotel and enjoy Dunoon but don't forget to join us on some or all of our INCLUDED excursions. Return every evening to share stories and experiences over a tasty dinner with your fellow travellers.
Day 5
After an amazing few days enjoy a final hearty Scottish breakfast this morning before saying 'bye for noo' and heading homewards with amazing memories, new friends and no doubt a few souvenirs!Loch Lomond & Cruise
Loch Lomond is one of the most beautiful and iconic places in Scotland. It was even the inspiration behind a love song that people in Scotland sing at several special occasions, but what else is there to love about Loch Lomond? The mesmerising loch lies in the heart of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park where you'll be surrounded by charming villages, rolling countryside, hills and some truly wonderful activities. At 190m deep and with a shoreline of 153 km is is best enjoyed from the water and that is why we have included a delighful cruise for you on this beautiful lake.
Oban with Whisky Distillery Tour
The name Oban derives from the Gaelic language and means 'little bay', but when it comes to having an unforgettable holiday, Oban is definitely a place which is big on things to see and do. Nestled on the west coast and surrounded by miles of dramatic shores and beautiful countryside, the seaside town is a great place to visit. Oban itself is compact and it's easy to get round on foot. There are plenty of small galleries and independent stores to browse through, as well as the centrally-located local distillery (where we have arranged for you to have a tasting!), chocolate shop, and museum. When it's time to relax or refuel, take your pick from the town's offering of pubs, cafés and restaurants.
Inverary Castle
Inveraray Castle & Gardens on the shores of Loch Fyne is one of Scotland’s finest stately homes. The ruggedness of the highland scenery serves as a spectacular backdrop for the sheltered tidal Loch, beside which nestles the present Castle built between 1746 and 1789. The ancestral seat of the Dukes of Argyll, Chiefs of the Clan Campbell whose family have resided in Inveraray since the early 15th century, Inveraray Castle was designed by Roger Morris and decorated by Robert Mylne. Its fairytale façade house's an equally enchanting interior.
