Itinerary

Day 1

Join your comfortable coach this morning and head for Bourneville on the outskirts of Birmingham. Discover the magic of Cadbury World, with 14 themed zones exploring the history of cocoa and its journey to Europe. Find out how the Cadbury family and their Quaker beliefs led them to build a new and better kind of factory away from the smoke and grime of the city. Discover the Cadbury ‘magic’ with a gentle ride on a ‘Beanmobile’, or take the 4D Chocolate Adventure, an interactive ride that sees you dive into a bowl of liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk. Enjoy a nibble in The Cadbury World Café and stock up on all of your favourite treats at The Cadbury World Shop.

Enjoy free time to do as you please before rejoining your coach and travelling on to your hotel. Check in with time to relax after your first day's adventure and enjoy your included evening meal.

Day 2

After a filling breakfast, we make our way to the fabulous West Midland Safari Park, home to some of the world’s most beautiful and endangered exotic species. Highlights include a Safari Drive, Adventure Theme Park (additional costs apply for rides, payable at the Park) and for your own little explorers, a dedicated Tiny Tots area with 7 rides and attractions designed for the smaller guest! The walk-through Discovery Trail is a fantastic all-weather attraction, hosting a number of animal exhibits and a variety of encounters, talks and shows. Land of the Living Dinosaurs features over 40 life-size, animatronic dinosaurs, making it the largest animatronic dinosaur attraction in the UK, and then continue the prehistoric adventure and venture into the UK’s largest Ice Age exhibit. Whether you prefer a restaurant-style family meal or to eat on the go, there is also a great range of food and drink options to suit everyone.

After all the fun and laughs it is time to rejoin your coach late afternoon and head back to your comfortable hotel in time for dinner and then get a good night's rest!

Day 3

After a final hearty breakfast, we check out of our hotel and rejoin the coach to head for the fabulous Severn Valley Railway. Our train journey follows the River Severn through glorious and unspoilt countryside.

In the afternoon, we continue our journey home with time to relax on board.

Trains are steam-hauled where possible, however due to timetable changes or weather conditions, heritage diesel locomotives may be running instead.

There’s so much to see and do for the whole family. From learning how your favourite confectionery is made and uncovering the fascinating story of Cadbury chocolate, to playing in chocolate rain and adding your favourite treat to a delicious pot of warm liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk.

You’ll discover the origins of the cocoa bean amidst trees and waterfalls in the Aztec Jungle, before jumping on board the magical Cadabra ride and visiting the 4D Chocolate Adventure zone, a 4D cinema experience featuring Cadbury’s most popular characters.

A visit to Cadbury World is not a factory tour. Cadbury World is located in the grounds of the original Cadbury factory, but isn't a tour of the factory itself. Instead, you’ll discover the history, the making and the magic of Cadbury confectionery as you journey through our chocolatey zones.

West Midland Safari Park

For the perfect family day out... journey on the four-mile Safari Drive-through and come face-to-face world’s most extraordinary and beautiful animals such as the gentle giraffe, impressive rhino, inquisitive African wild dog, incredible African elephants and magnificent lions and tigers. Have a wander around the Discovery Trail and discover the Reptile House, Twilight Cave, Creepy Crawlies, Aquarium, Lorikeet Landing, Sea Lion Theatre and Penguin Cove. Visit the African Village to see the cheeky meerkats & the playful lemurs in Lemur Woods. There are daily hands-on animal encounters, Sea Lion Shows, lemur talks and hippo feeds all included in the admission price! Step back in time as you journey through Land of the Living Dinosaurs and Ice Age, showcasing prehistoric creatures that once roamed the earth! Boj’s Giggly Park is an immersive, multi-sensory children’s play area which is perfect for younger visitors.

A comfortable, modern hotel on the outskirts of Birmingham. Set in seven acres of landscaped gardens, it has the ideal facilities and perfect setting for you to enjoy a relaxing stay. As the name suggests, it is located just a short drive from Junction 7 of the M6 motorway, which makes it a good touring location.
