Itinerary
Day 1
Join your coach this morning and travel to the bustling university city of Oxford with its honey-gold buildings, dreaming spires and riverside setting, whilst we take care of all the arrangements. We'll drop you off in the heart of Oxford and pick you up again once you've explored or filled your boots (or should that be bags?) with goodies. Enjoy free time to explore this great city before rejoining your coach later this afternoon. We will then travel for our comfortable overnight stay at the Ibis Reading Centre, which is ideally located in the town centre. Either simply relax at the hotel or your central location allows you to stay out as late as you like making the most of all the town has to offer including great food and drink.
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast, say farewell to your hotel and head for Winchester, for free time to enjoy as you wish. The city's major landmark is the striking Winchester Cathedral, one of the largest cathedrals in Europe, with the greatest overall length of any Gothic cathedral. It is well worth a visit and is home to some rare, precious and stunning items. Enjoy time to shop, sightsee and grab something to eat before rejoining your coach this afternoon to head homewards with lots of lovely memories and possibly several souvenirs!Oxford
