Your journey starts with a visit to the fairytale Belvoir Castle at Christmas - home to the Duke of Rutland's family since 1067 with a chance to explore this ancestral home decorated for the season, stunning grounds and great Engine Yard retail centre for some fabulous local produce and gifts to take home with your wonderful memories!
Enjoy time in Nottingham where you can enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and excitement of this historic city's Winter Wonderland event including their Christmas Market. Nottingham’s Old Market Square offer the perfect backdrop for their festive market full of chalet-style stalls offering plenty of choice of gifts, crafts and speciality foods.
Finally explore fabulous Bicester Village where you are bound to find some cracking festive gifts and you won't have to worry about getting it all home, our coach has plenty of space!

Day 1Join your comfortable coach this morning and head for the fabulous, fairytale Belvoir Castle (pronounced beaver), home to the Duke of Rutland's family since 1067! You will have ample time to enjoy this fascinating visit, exploring the beautiful castle and grounds which comes alive with twinkling lights and festive finds. We then travel on to our hotel to check in with time to relax and enjoy your included evening meal.
Day 2After a filling breakfast, we will head to Nottingham where the annual Winter Wonderland event will be taking place. You will find a traditional German-style Christmas Market with all the wonderful Christmas food, mulled wine, handmade gifts and decorations that you would expect to see. Known across the globe for its legendary connections to the famous outlaw Robin Hood, Nottingham also has plenty of other attractions of interest. There’s Nottingham Castle, Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem - reputably the oldest pub in England, The Galleries of Justice Museum, the City of Caves attraction, and the fabulously designed Council House which is used for civic events.
Rejoin your coach later to make our way back to the hotel with plenty of time before dinner in the evening.
Day 3After a final hearty breakfast, say farewell to your hotel and head for the beautifully laid out designer shopping experience at Bicester Village. Enjoy free time to browse the village style centre for festive bargains from designers to high street names, and homeware to lingerie and accessories. Make sure you leave time to sample one of the excellent cafes and restaurants that match the village vibe. Rejoin your coach later this afternoon to relax and think about your wonderful weekend as you head home, with maybe a gift or two.

At Christmas the castle is filled with exquisite and sumptuous decorations, ensuring every state room including the Guard Room, Ballroom, State Dining Room and King’s Rooms is adorned with colour and rich in décor. Outdoors, you can take a tour of an enchanting light trail which runs through the beautifully manicured gardens.
