We make a leisurely journey south west to Land’s End where you can take a stroll along the family-friendly paths above cliffs carved out by the Atlantic Ocean, or maybe visit the ‘End to End’ exhibition that tells the stories of some of those who made the 838 mile journey to or from John o’Groats. This seaside town with its picturesque fishing harbour is a dazzling jewel in Cornwall’s crown. Spend time just soaking up the atmosphere and doing your own thing. Maybe enjoy an authentic Cornish pasty or some local seafood.

St Ives & Land's End

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationWe head to the attractive town of Marazion, where we enjoy a photo stop to capture the tidal island of St Michael’s Mount, which lies half a mile offshore. We then continue to the famous Land’s End, known as the start or finishing point of journeys to or from John o’ Groats in Scotland highlighted by the iconic Land’s End Signpost. We spend some time soaking in the natural beauty and beautiful views here before travelling along the scenic West Cornwall Coast Road (B3306) to the picturesque fishing harbour and seaside town of St Ives, where we have time at leisure to explore.

St Ives is the proud winner of a showcase of national awards including one of the 10 best European beach destinations voted by Trip Advisor. It’s no wonder then that the town has been attracting artists for decades who come to capture the area’s undeniable natural beauty. It started with J M W Turner and the marine artist Henry Moore who first came to St Ives in the mid-1800s and since then the town has become a magnet for some of the world’s greatest painters, sculptors and ceramicists. Lose yourself in the maze of narrow, cobbled streets and alleyways, and spend time down by the harbour beach. There are so many reasons to love the charm and beauty of this picture perfect resort and you can have time at leisure to explore and find your own!
