The unofficial capital of Cornish surfing is also the south coast’s busiest town. Newquay’s cluster of beaches remains as glorious as ever, and if you’re looking to learn how to brave the waves, this is the place to do it. Apart from the twelve golden beaches, Newquay has many hidden gems. The three main ones are the Harbour, Huer’s Hut and the Trenance Gardens and Boating Lake. You will find many of the attractions in and around Newquay are fun for all ages - from theme parks to parks and gardens. Newquay is also an ideal base to explore Cornwall and its heritage.
