Newquay, one of the nation's favourite seaside towns, exudes the laid back atmosphere you would expect from a town perched on Cornwall's Atlantic cliffs and bordered by 7 miles of glorious golden sandy beaches. It's a place where all the family gets to relax and enjoy a proper holiday - toes in the sand, ice-cream in hand - or wrapped up warm in a cosy seafront cafe or pub! There's a different beach for every day of the week and glorious open spaces looking out to sea. The town manages to be both trendy and yet remains a great family resort - all wrapped up in the most fantastic coastal scenery.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Padstow & Port Isaac
Made famous by the TV series Doc Martin, the name Port Isaac is derived from Port Izzyck and is said to mean ‘corn port’. It has always been a prosperous fishing port, the main catch being pilchards. Boatbuilding was also a thriving industry with two boatyards. During the twentieth century, the pilchard shoals declined and Port Isaac’s way of life began to change. Its isolation became the attraction to an ‘upwardly mobile society’ and 70% of the old village has been bought by second homeowners. It has also attracted the film and TV industry and become a major tourist stop in north Cornwall yet it remains a charming example of a north Cornish fishing village.
Padstow is a charming working fishing port surrounded by glorious sandy beaches, at the head of the Camel River. Watching the everyday ebb and flow of harbour life is a perfect way to spend a day. This foodie destination with popular eateries such as Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant is also the start and endpoint for the Camel Cycle Trail and a good base for water sports. For some of the cliff scenes in the TV series Poldark, the filming action moved to the Padstow area. Fans of north Cornwall will recognise Lellizzick and the spectacular views across the Camel Estuary
St Ives & Perranporth
St Ives is the proud winner of a showcase of national awards including best family holiday destination by Coast magazine and one of the 10 best European beach destinations compiled by TripAdvisor. It’s no wonder then that the town has been attracting artists for decades who come to capture the area’s undeniable natural beauty. It started with J M W Turner and the marine artist Henry Moore who first came to St Ives in the mid-1800s and since then the town has become a magnet for some of the world’s greatest painters, sculptors and ceramists.
In the 19th century, Perranporth was a tin-mining village. It is now a family resort with miles of golden sands, attracting surfers, sunbathers and sand yachters. It also has a golf course and boating lake and there are fine cliff walks in the area. For those who are a little more adventurous, there are caves to explore and interesting rock formations to investigate. From the coastal footpath, there are lovely and rare birds to be spotted. In the spring every hedgerow and cliff top is a colourful mass of wildflowers. Penwartha Coombe has a stream running alongside the road and is a very cool and refreshing place in which to escape the bustling streets of Perranporth.
