Midweek At Torquay Leisure Resorts
2018 - Derwent - 5 Days (AUD0089/90)
The iconic palm trees could fool you into thinking you were in the Mediterranean. The coast of Torquay is scattered with beautiful piers and russet-red cliffs. Enjoy long leisurely walks along the promenade and take in the relaxed atmosphere. Make time to walk up the steps of Royal Terrace Gardens. Remember to take in the amazing sea views across the bay at night with the lights reflecting onto the sea. Add an Agatha Christie connection and steam trains and it all adds up to some grand days out beside the sea.
The area boasts unique attractions that range from an immense aviary to a model village. There is also a delicious range of eateries where you can enjoy the finest cuisine or just some fish and chips. Situated on the English Riviera, a place known for its stunning coast and countryside, Torquay itself is the quintessential English seaside resort beloved by all ages and offers the liveliest classic British seaside holidays with amusement arcades, rock, toffee apples and everything else that will take you back to your childhood.
