Day 1

Join your comfortable coach this morning as we make our way to Lincolnshire with a suitable stop on the way.

Check in to your centrally located hotel with time to relax and explore at your own pace before enjoying your included evening meal. You may want to venture out to sample the city's nightlife, or relax and enjoy a drink in the hotel with your fellow travellers.

Days 2 & 3

After a filling breakfast the day is yours to enjoy in Lincoln as you please. It is a captivating city where history and charm meet, offering visitors medieval landmarks like the stunning Lincoln Cathedral and the ancient Lincoln Castle, alongside vibrant modern shopping streets and a lively waterfront.

As an added bonus, you can experience the Lincoln Steampunk Festival, officially known as "The Asylum Steampunk Festival". The cobbled streets of Lincoln will be transformed with top hats, flying goggles, corsets and flamboyant feathers. This innovative event attracts visitors from all over the world and celebrates a steam powered world in the late 19th century, with a programme of art, literature, music, fashion and comedy. Make your way back to the hotel in the evening to relax and enjoy our included dinner.

Day 4

After a final hearty breakfast in Lincoln, rejoin your coach as we begin our journey homewards with a suitbale stop on the way.

Steampunk Festival Lincoln

Taking the Cathedral Quarter in Lincoln by storm to a time that never was - the largest steampunk festival in the world returns to Lincoln, with workshops, talks, tea-dunking competitions, market stalls and the Grand Promenade.

The Asylum Steampunk Festival is a convention-style event, bringing together enthusiasts from far and wide to celebrate this imaginative, Victorian-inspired subculture. Set against the historic backdrop of Lincoln’s medieval streets, the event transforms the city into a scene from an alternate past where steam-powered technology reigns supreme. Enjoy an array of creative activities*, including costume competitions, parades, performances, and an expansive marketplace with handmade steampunk crafts. The festival is an annual spectacle of elaborate fashion, artistry, and inventiveness, making it a truly unique and memorable event for visitors.

There is free access to the Steampunk Festival for spectators along the Bailgate area where there are market stalls nestled on Castle Hill, nestled between Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle.
