Ledbury & Scenic Wye Valley Drive Day Trip
1 days
DAY024
Ledbury is a small but vibrant market town in South East Herefordshire, at the foot of the Malvern Hills and close to the borders of both Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
It has historic streets lined with brilliant independent shops, plus plenty of places to refuel. The town is surrounded by woods, orchards and hills, with footpaths winding up to the Malvern Hills. Literary luminaries, including Elizabeth Barrett Browning and John Masefield, were enamoured with this beautiful area.
Our scenic journey also takes us through the Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, crossing the Wales–England border. We will make a stop in Ross-on-Wye, a picturesque market town nestled along the River Wye, with its stunning riverside views and charming historic streets.
Subject to traffic and travel, we leave around 16:00 to start our journey back home.
