Margate, home of the original day trip, but now a trendy seaside hotspot with the impressive Turner Contemporary art gallery surrounded by boutique shops and cafes. For the more traditional take a ride on the original wooden roller coaster dating from the 1920’s at Dreamland’s vintage park. This is a great ‘old fashioned’ seaside resort that you’ll love!
