Itinerary
Day 1
Join your coach at your nearest local pick up point, head for Poole and board your ferry across to Jersey. Enjoy the onboard facilities and arrive in St Helier relaxed and ready for your holiday. You'll be met on arrival at the port and transferred to your holiday hotel. Check in, and maybe have a drink in the bar before your first evening meal.
It is important to note that your departure time from your local pick up point may be very early hours of the morning, as ferry times from Poole depend on tide times. We will let you know in good time when you will need to be at you pick-up point. Tide times for your return will also determine what time you will arrive back home on your last day.
Days 2 - 4
Relax and enjoy your time in Jersey! Stock up on hearty breakfasts each morning and then the island is yours to discover at leisure, knowing that you'll have a delicious evening meal to look forward to back at your hotel. We have included an informative Island tour to help you get your bearings, along with the services of a local representative to help you get the very most out of your island stay. You'll be able to book additional excursions with the island representative whilst you are there too!
There are many sights to discover and experiences to be had on this beautiful island, but you prefer to kick back and enjoy the swimming pool and beach life, please do! Just remember to be back at the hotel for your included dinner, and of course a drink at the bar during the entertainment nights.
Day 5
After a final hearty breakfast it is sadly time to say goodbye to Jersey and board the ferry back to Poole Harbour and then on home. Tide times will determine your return homebound departure but you will know in good time when you will be collected from the hotel for the port transfer.
Your coach will meet you on arrival back in Poole for the coach journey home.
Important Notes About Jersey Holidays
Luggage:
Customers must carry their own luggage from the coach to the ferry (and vice versa), as porterage services are not available at the port. Maximum weight for luggage is a strict 25kg. The luggage is stored on the boat after security at the port and is then collected by you at the other end.
Wheelchair Users:
Assistance at the port must be pre-booked.
Condor Ferries:
Condor offers an exceptional onboard experience, including comfortable seating, various dining options, and shopping facilities.
On rare occasions, Condor Ferries may be unable to sail due to adverse weather conditions. In such cases, alternative ferry or accommodation arrangements will be made on your behalf. In such circumstances additional hotel and meal costs must be paid upfront by you and later claimed back through your insurance.
Travel Insurance:
Please make sure that you have travel insurance for your Jersey holiday, and that it includes delayed departure. You would need to claim from your insurance in the event that the ferry is delayed due to exceptional weather conditions.
Excursions:
You have an Island excursion included. You may wish to explore the Jersey's attractions further (or even hop off to France for the day), in which case you can discuss options and prices with your local representative when you are there.
Identification:
Passports are not required for this holiday, but photographic identification is required. Your passport, driving licence or other photo ID will be required at check-in at the port.
Departure & return times:
Times are dependent on Condor sailing times, which are in turn determined by tide times. Some departures are very early in the morning. We will advise you what your departure time is when times are finalised.
