Itinerary
Day 1
Join your comfortable coach at any of our convenient local pick up points and start off on your fabulous Italian adventure as you head for Dover and your channel crossing to France. Continue on to your first overnight hotel, stopping en route to pick up some dinner, before arriving and checking in for a good night's sleep.
Day 2
After a good breakfast and comfortable night's rest, we continue on our journey south towards Italy and our second overnight stop en route.
Day 3
After a good rest and tasty breakfast, rejoin your coach to complete your scenic journey down to Tuscany. We expect to arrive at our hotel in the late afternoon and in good time for your first taste of Italy at dinner. Unpack, relax and unwind before dinner before enjoying supper and an opportunity to mingle with your fellow travellers.
Days 4 - 7
Enjoy hearty buffet breakfasts every morning that are guaranteed to set you up for whatever your day holds. Take time to enjoy the beautiful spa town of Montecatini Terme whilst also joining us on our fabulous GUIDED excursions. See Florence, Pisa and experience the magic of the Tuscan hills and their medieval towns. Return to the hotel every evening for great food and an opportunity to share your experiences.
Day 8
After a final tasty breakfast it is time to bid farewell to Tuscany and Italy as you board your coach and head back through the mountains to your overnight hotel, once again stopping en route for you to grab supper. Check in to your comfortable hotel and enjoy a final night in Europe before the final leg of your journey home.
Day 9
Enjoy another good breakfast before heading back to Calais and your return crossing back to the UK. As you the head back home through England, there will be plenty of time to reflect on the holiday memories you are bringing home with you - and maybe a few souvenirs?

Pisa & Lucca

Morning Lucca guided tour: a walk along its walls, the ancient cobblestone pathways lined with medieval architecture, the Cathedral of San Martino and the Guinigi Tower, adorned with its signature oak trees and panoramic views. Lucca enchants with its well-preserved Renaissance walls and charming piazzas.
In the afternoon, tour of iconic Pisa with its Piazza dei Miracoli, Cathedral, Baptistery and the Leaning Tower (outside view only). Wander the lively streets, enjoy riverside views along the Arno, and explore vibrant markets and cafes.
San Gimignano & Volterra
Morning guided tour of San Gimignano and its towers, architectural treasures and historic facades. San Gimignano and Volterra, nestled in Tuscany's picturesque landscape, are medieval gems brimming with history and charm. San Gimignano, known as the "City of Towers," captivates with its skyline of medieval towers. Stroll through its cobbled streets, visit the stunning Collegiate Church with frescoes, and enjoy sweeping views from Torre Grossa. Savor local Vernaccia wine at cosy enotecas (wine bars!) and explore artisan shops in this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Afternoon tour of Volterra, a former Etruscan settlement with the most amazing views over Tuscany’s sunsets. Volterra, perched on a hilltop, is renowned for its Etruscan heritage and alabaster craftsmanship. Wander through its ancient streets, visit the Roman Theatre, and marvel at the Palazzo dei Priori. Explore the Etruscan Museum and admire the unique Balze cliffs. Together, San Gimignano and Volterra offer a rich, immersive experience of Tuscany's historic and cultural splendor. You'll aslo stop at a alabaster-workshop for a peak into this ancient craftmanship.
