This four-day festive break is based at the welcoming Burlington Hotel, where you’ll enjoy three nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis, combined with traditional Christmas cheer, entertainment and a touch of royal history.
Your festive getaway begins on Friday with a warm welcome, including mulled wine on arrival. After settling in, enjoy an evening meal followed by a fun game of bingo, setting the tone for a sociable and light-hearted weekend. Saturday brings Christmas Day celebrations, starting with breakfast before a relaxed afternoon of tea and mince pies. In the evening, sit down to a traditional Christmas dinner complete with crackers, followed by lively entertainment and more bingo for those who wish to join in.
On Sunday, festivities continue with a leisurely breakfast, afternoon coffee and cake, and a special New Year’s Eve supper. As the evening unfolds, enjoy entertainment, bingo and the countdown to the New Year, complete with party poppers and a celebratory atmosphere.
A highlight of the weekend is an included excursion to Osborne House at Christmas, beautifully decorated for the season and offering a fascinating glimpse into royal festive traditions.
With comfortable accommodation, festive meals, entertainment and excursions all included, this Turkey & Tinsel weekend is a wonderful way to enjoy Christmas and New Year without the stress, in a friendly and welcoming setting by the sea.

Itinerary
Day 1
After joining your coach this morning, head for the magical Isle of Wight with coffee/lunch stops along the way. We then take the short ferry ride across the Solent to the Isle of Wight, followed by a short drive to Sandown. We expect to arrive at your hotel late afternoon, just in time for you to enjoy 'Christmas Eve' with a glass of hot mulled wine before a tasty dinner and some festive bingo.
Days 2 & 3
Day 2 - Christmas DayEnjoy a hearty breakfast and a relaxing morning before joining us on our INCLUDED excursion to stunning Osborne House at Christmas. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon for tea and mince pies before enjoying a traditional Christmas dinner with crackers followed by more bingo and some 'cracking' festive entertainment.
Day 3 - New Year's Eve
After another good breakfast the day is yours to enjoy as you wish. There will be coffee and cake available in the afternoon and then it is time to get ready for the big New Year celebrations! This starts with another great meal followed by more brilliant entertainment including a New Year countdown to see in the 'New Year'.
Day 4
After a final tasty breakfast, say farewell to the Isle of Wight and board your coach for the return crossing over the Solent and your onward journey home, full of festive cheer.Tour includes

Burlington Hotel Sandown Isle of Wight
The Burlington Hotel boasts 70 ensuite rooms and is in a central seaside location set back just 2 minutes’ walk from the beach and town centre. Sandown Seafront provides the perfect day at the beach for all, whether you are looking to relax, play crazy golf or fancy a spot of sailing. This value-for-money 2-star hotel offers a traditional English or Continental breakfast and, in the evening, enjoy a varied menu which caters to all dietary requirements. The hotel Bar/Lounge regularly hosts local live entertainment in a relaxed and comfortable environment. You also have the option to get up on the dance floor, perfect should you wish to dance the night away. There is no lift but a number of ground floor rooms are available. Single rooms and are usually smaller rooms with single beds. Double for sole rooms at a supplement may be available on request.
