Your stay includes dinner, bed and breakfast, allowing you to fully unwind and enjoy everything this historic spa town has to offer. Each evening, look forward to delicious dinners served in the hotel restaurant, followed by time to socialise and relax with the added bonus of a half price bar every night at the hotel, giving you even more reason to sit back and enjoy the friendly atmosphere (house rules apply). One afternoon, you’ll also be treated to a traditional cream tea, the perfect way to slow down and savour a quintessentially British treat.

Itinerary

Day 1

Join your comfortable coach at your convenient pick up point this morning before we head for Yorkshire and the historic town of Harrogate. Take some time to settle in or maybe have a stroll around the town or enjoy a drink at the half price bar before our first nights dinner.

Day 2-4

There is plenty of time to explore Harrogate and all its sights and sounds. Enjoy free time to experience this definitive boutique spa town in the heart of Yorkshire. Its thriving streets buzz with busy shops and eateries, and the ultimate in all day tea experiences can be found at world famous Bettys Tea Rooms. Harrogate is known for its floral excellence, evident in the magnificent displays across the town and in its well-kept parks and gardens. The largest of these is the Grade II listed Valley Gardens, which features several distinctive areas and receives millions of visitors every year.

You can of course spend all of your time in Harrogate or join us on our INCLUDED excursions to experience some of the best that this region has to offer.

Return to your hotel each evening with time to relax and enjoy your included dinner, half price bar and evening entertainment or step out to discover one of the many bars and venues nearby. We will also enjoy an included cream tea on one afternoon.

Day 5

After our final breakfast today, it is time to say farewell to Yorkshire as we board our coach for the last time. Sit back and relax as we head for home, and reflect on this warm and friendly county and the history, fun and wonderful experiences you have enjoyed.

Harrogate

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationA Victorian masterpiece with its handsome historic buildings and verdant gardens, the spa town of Harrogate is one of Yorkshire's most elegant destinations. Magnificent buildings, colourful banks of flowers, broad tree-lined boulevards and wide-open spaces are reminders of its regal past. The 19th century Royal Pump Room Museum, housing the original sulphur well, and the Royal Baths Assembly Rooms, built in 1897, where the Turkish Baths are still in daily use. Valley Gardens is 17 acres of English Heritage Grade II listed parkland, themed gardens, floral displays and historic buildings and well worth a stroll through. Harrogate is widely known for its fine tea rooms, restaurants and unique shops all based in a lovely setting. A visit to Harrogate isn't complete without sampling the delights of the original Betty's Tea Rooms, and it's no surprise that Agatha Christie chose the town as her escape when she mysteriously disappeared in 1926!

York

With a history dating back over 300 years, this historic hotel is ideally located in the charming old town of Harrogate, just moments from many of its most popular sites. It features 115 individually styled bedrooms, equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The spacious reception area is traditional with wood panelling.
