Itinerary
Day 1
Join your comfortable coach this morning and head for the royal town of Windsor, beautifully set beside the River Thames and famous for its deep royal heritage. Here you’ll have time to explore at leisure. Take a stroll through the charming streets filled with traditional shops and cafés, wander along the riverside, or admire the impressive exterior of Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world.
Rejoin your coach later this afternoon and travel to your modern overnight hotel in Woking, with time this evening to relax and make your own choice for dinner.
Day 2
After a leisurely filling breakfast this morning, we leave the hotel and travel to the magnificent Hampton Court Palace, once home to Henry VIII and one of England’s most spectacular historic palaces.
Today’s highlight is the lively Hampton Court Palace Food Festival, where the palace gardens and grounds come alive with the sights, sounds and flavours of artisan food and drink. Wander through the festival stalls, sample delicious local produce, watch live cooking demonstrations from talented chefs, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere in this stunning royal setting.
You’ll also have time to explore the beautiful palace grounds at leisure, from the impressive Tudor courtyards to the expansive gardens and famous maze.
Rejoin your coach later this afternoon with time to relax as you travel home.
