Set in a stunning waterside location, Gloucester Quays is the city’s thriving leisure quarter and is a great day out for the whole family. There is so much for everyone to see and explore whatever your age or interests. Whether its enjoying a local ale in a waterfront bar, dining in style at one of the buzzing restaurants or catching a family film at the multi-screen cinema there really is something for everyone!
Our visit coincides with the popular annual Food Festival, the region’s much-loved foodie event. As always, there will be the very best traders offering delicious street food, quality craft, gift and retail products, plus a fabulous entertainment programme for the whole family, including celebrity chefs, a live music stage and it is FREE for visitors to attend.
A short walk will take you into the city centre where you can find the iconic Gloucester Cathedral, a magnificent Gothic masterpiece, which attracts admirers from around the world. With its charming cobbled streets and quaint shops, Gloucester offers a delightful blend of old-world charm and modern amenities.
We rejoin the coach around 16:30 to start our journey home.
