Eastbourne has earned the title of ‘Sunniest Place in Britain’. Whilst we cannot guarantee the weather for these festive visits, it remains a popular holiday destination at any time of the year and has always had a reputation for being a place to come for quiet relaxation. Situated on the South Coast of England, its old-fashioned sweet shops and prominent Victorian buildings will leave you with a nostalgic feeling, whilst its serene coastal views are simply beautiful. Experience all this charming seaside resort has to offer and enjoy its stunning beaches, delightful seafront cafés and pretty gardens plus the iconic 150-year-old pier can’t be missed!
We include a visit to the fabulous regency resort of Brighton. Take a stroll through ‘The Lanes’, the famous twisting alleyways full of jewellers, antiques and designer boutiques. Brighton Pier brings back days of yesteryear or take a flight 135 metres above the ground on the Brighton i360. We also travel along the coast to the traditional seaside town of Hastings, home to the remains of the first castle in England to be built by William the Conqueror, and today and there is an abundance of history to be discovered in the meandering alleyways in the old town.
Day 4After a final hearty breakfast it is time to say farewell to the Burlington Hotel and Eastbourne. Board your comfortable coach for a relaxing journey home with a coffee/lunch break on the way.

EastbourneINCLUDED Visitor DestinationOften described as the ‘suntrap of the south’, Eastbourne is an elegant resort situated on the Sussex coast. The pleasant long, tree-lined promenade, colourful gardens and Victorian seafront with its 19th century pier befits a town famous for its charm and dignity. The Towner Art Gallery contains world-class exhibitions of modern and contemporary art or browse the shops on the quaint Victorian streets of Little Chelsea. Alternatively simply take it easy, watching the world go by on the prom or in one of the many tea rooms.
BrightonINCLUDED Visitor DestinationAlso known as ‘Doctor Brighton’ and ‘London by the Sea’, the unique blend of outrageous architecture and quaint streets has made Brighton England’s most fashionable resort for over 200 years. Wander ‘The Lanes’, the oldest quarter filled with unique shopping opportunities, lined with 17th century fishermen’s cottages. Take a stroll along the famous pier for some traditional fun. Brighton's famous pebble beach is a great place to enjoy your fish & chips, and for the more adventurous try a ride on the newest attraction, Brighton i360 which takes you on a gentle journey 162 metres above the town for a stunning birds eye view for miles. If history and architecture are your thing the lovely Royal Pavilion is a must see - the Prince Regent's original pleasure palace made for entertaining. Brighton has something for everyone, and the fun never stops!
HastingsSet between hills that reach to the sea, Hastings is an oyster that comes with its own grit, where the smooth bustle of modern life rubs along with the rough edges of tradition. Look up and you’ll see the castle ruins watching over the town, as they have in one guise or another for nearly a thousand years. The three-mile seafront stretches from the fishing fleet at the eastern end through the hustle and bustle of the arcades and funfair rides, to the pier and unique double-decker promenade bottle alley, arriving finally at peaceful Grosvenor Gardens.
