Eastbourne

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationOften described as the ‘suntrap of the south’, Eastbourne is an elegant resort situated on the Sussex coast. The pleasant long, tree-lined promenade, colourful gardens and Victorian seafront with its 19th century pier befits a town famous for its charm and dignity. The Towner Art Gallery contains world-class exhibitions of modern and contemporary art or browse the shops on the quaint Victorian streets of Little Chelsea. Alternatively simply take it easy, watching the world go by on the prom or in one of the many tea rooms.

Brighton

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationAlso known as ‘Doctor Brighton’ and ‘London by the Sea’, the unique blend of outrageous architecture and quaint streets has made Brighton England’s most fashionable resort for over 200 years. Wander ‘The Lanes’, the oldest quarter filled with unique shopping opportunities, lined with 17th century fishermen’s cottages. Take a stroll along the famous pier for some traditional fun. Brighton's famous pebble beach is a great place to enjoy your fish & chips, and for the more adventurous try a ride on the newest attraction, Brighton i360 which takes you on a gentle journey 162 metres above the town for a stunning birds eye view for miles. If history and architecture are your thing the lovely Royal Pavilion is a must see - the Prince Regent's original pleasure palace made for entertaining. Brighton has something for everyone, and the fun never stops!

Lewes

INCLUDED Visitor Destination

With its medieval streets, old English churches and tiny twittens (a Sussex word for alleyway) visitors are allowed a glimpse into the true essence of bygone Lewes. Although surrounded by chalk cliffs, the townscape is dominated by the remains of a Norman castle. Lewes also claims host to numerous contemporary art galleries and historic & special interest sites including the once mighty Priory of St. Pancras - a casualty of the dissolution of the monasteries.

Lewes is a market town of small, specialist, independent retailers and on certain days, the subtle aromas wafting from Harvey’s Brewery will attract any visitor to Cliffe High Street. Bookshops, boutiques and antique centres sit alongside individual craft workshops, and the restaurants, cafes, and pubs offer delicious choices all year round with real emphasis on local produce.

Today it’s home to a myriad of art, curiosities and cosy pubs, as well as contemporary restaurants serving the best Sussex has to offer, from land and sea. Built on smuggled secrets and timeless tales, Rye has nooks and crannies to explore and distant views across Romney Marsh to ponder.

Tenterden

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationTenterden, known as the ‘Jewel of the Weald’, offers the best of all worlds; fascinating history, a wealth of architecture and excellent shopping - all within everyone’s idea of a typical country town and surrounded by Kent’s tranquil countryside. At its centre are the tree-lined greens that distance you from the world going by. So, you can shop at a relaxed pace, browsing in the wide range of shops, from the unique and usual to the familiar and well known. It is also a fascinating town to explore.
