This is a delightful opportunity to enjoy a fantastic weekend break in the picturesque seaside resort of Babbacombe PLUS half price bar drinks EVERY evening in the Showbar! You'll be staying right on the seafront at the friendly, family run Babbacombe Hotel from which you can enjoy fabulous views across Lyme Bay and the Babbacombe Downs. If you enjoy a bit of fun in the evening the hotel lays on great entertainment every night (washed down with those lovely half price drinks!). We have also included the very best in Devon excursions to the lovely seaside towns of Sidmouth & Exmouth and also offer a half day visit to Dawlish.

Itinerary
Day 1
Join your comfortable coach this morning at your convenient local pick-up point and head south west towards the glamourous English Riviera! On arrival in your resort of Babbacombe there will be plenty of time to settle in and enjoy a seaside stroll before dinner. It is easy to see why the picture perfect setting has earned it the title of the 'Jewel in the crown of the English Riviera'. Enjoy a half price drink in the Showbar to meet friends and fellow travellers, and make sure you have worked up an appetite to enjoy your evening meal, followed by some great entertainment. Dinner is usually a 3-course carvery buffet with a minimum 3 options for each course.
Days 2 & 3
Your comfortable central hotel allows you to make the most of your free time to explore your lovely resort, from the popular model village, cliff railway, pier and theatre there is plenty to entertain you. Don't miss Hanbury's Fish & Chips for a tasty treat with fine views across the bay. Just make sure you leave room for your delicious evening meals, which are followed by great entertainment every night along with those half price bar offers!

Day 4

Set in the middle of spectacular countryside, Sidmouth is home to beautiful beaches, stylish eating places and great shopping, with everything from unusual gifts, designer clothing and lifestyle goods available. Situated on the Jurassic Coast, its coastline is dominated by the vivid red sandstone cliffs which date back to the Triassic period. It is a great town for walking, be it a gentle stroll along the seafront or a more energetic climb up the stunning rocks. Make sure you also take some time to explore the town centre, rich in royal and architectural history, as well as discovering a great range of shops, cafes and restaurants.Exmouth
INCLUDED Visitor DestinationExmouth is one of the oldest and most picturesque seaside towns in Devon, and the gateway to the Jurassic Coast, along with two miles of lovely sandy beach. The town is home to an indoor market and range of shops to be browsed and explored amongst the splendid Regency architecture. Fresh local produce is in abundance, from fresh fish and chips, to celebrity chefs and fine dining Exmouth has an eclectic mix of restaurants on offer in the town and along the seafront. To discover a bit more about the history of the town follow the Blue Plaque heritage trail and explore the heritage of the area.Dawlish
INCLUDED Visitor DestinationThe Regency resort town of Dawlish nestles attractively between steep surrounding hills at its heart, together with the picturesque settlements of Cockwood and Holcombe and the popular nature reserve of Dawlish Warren. The railway sweeps along the entire seafront and beach, with character cottages, impressive villas, narrow streets, bustling shops and welcoming tea rooms just a taste of what Dawlish has to offer. The long golden sandy beach makes this a popular traditional seaside town, but a host of interesting shops and cafes centred around The Lawn and Brook are a must see attraction. The Lawn offers a lovely green space for picnics and a stroll, and the Brook is home to the towns famous black swans which have been residents in Dawlish since the early 1900's. The South Devon Railway Line runs through the town, and is considered one of the most scenic railway lines in Britain between Exeter and Newton Abbot with wonderful views along the Exe Estuary as it travels just a few metres from the shoreline.Tour includes

Babbacombe Hotel Babbacombe
A warm welcome awaits you at the beautifully located Babbacombe Hotel. Enjoying a level position directly overlooking the famous Babbacombe Downs & seafront, the hotel offers stunning views in comfortable surroundings. All bedrooms are light, airy and comfortably furnished, many with breathtaking views overlooking the beachfront (supplements apply). Live, cabaret entertainment is provided most nights in the lounge and there is a lift to all floors. Dinner is usually a 3-course carvery buffet with a minimum 3 options for each course.The Babbacombe Hotel caters well for disabled guests with a number of purpose built wetrooms and all public areas situated on the ground floor. However, please note to access many of the single rooms at the hotel there are a minimum of THREE Stairs and a Maximum of SIX. The hotel does not have any ground floor single rooms and therefore all of these rooms are accessible by a combination of a lift and the 3-6 steps. All single rooms have walk in showers. There are no single rooms with sea views.
