Enjoy a beautifully scented and picture-perfect day out on our day trip to the Cotswolds Lavender Fields, combined with a visit to the charming market town of Moreton-in-Marsh.
Our day begins in the heart of the Cotswolds, where rolling countryside is transformed in summer by sweeping rows of vibrant purple lavender. You’ll have time to wander through the lavender fields, take photographs and enjoy the calming atmosphere as the air fills with the unmistakable scent of lavender. It’s a wonderful opportunity to slow down, enjoy the scenery and capture some truly stunning images.
Many lavender farms also offer on-site shops selling locally made lavender products, from essential oils and soaps to gifts and souvenirs, making it easy to take a little of the experience home with you.
Later, we continue to Moreton-in-Marsh, one of the Cotswolds’ most welcoming and traditional market towns. With its wide high street, historic buildings and range of independent shops, cafés and tearooms, it’s an ideal place to relax and explore at your own pace. You may wish to enjoy lunch in a cosy café, browse local boutiques or simply sit back and watch the world go by.
