Cotswolds & Stratford
2018 - LT Allocated - 2 Days (AUD0085/86/87)
One of the delights of visiting the Cotswolds is exploring the different areas, each with its own identity. But all have those defining Cotswold features: golden stone and rolling hills, the ‘wolds’. Explore English villages of honey-coloured stone and take in splendid, lively market towns. Visit some of the country’s greatest palaces, castles, and country houses and marvel at the natural world in acclaimed reserves.
There’s a vibrant buzz in places like Cheltenham, Cirencester, Tewkesbury Stroud and Witney. And an arty heartbeat too – which extends to the wealth of festivals that are the testimony to the creative vibe of the region. The landscape provides a rich harvest of local cheeses, meats and drinks appearing on the menus of the gastropubs, old inns, colourful cafes and fine dining restaurants scattered across the region.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Bourton-on-the-Water & Stow-on-the-Wold
Bourton-on-the-Water straddles the river Windrush with its series of elegant low bridges beside neat tree-shaded greens and tidy stone banks. Standing back from the river are traditional Cotswolds buildings, many of which are now tourist shops for the day-trippers and visitors. Nearby Stow is located on the Roman Fosse Way and is the highest of the Cotswolds towns.
