We'll whisk you away and over the water on the short crossing from the mainland to your charming hotel in its prime cliff top location overlooking pretty Sandown Bay. With fantastic facilities including a sprung dance floor, games room, indoor heated swimming pool and entertainment most evenings, you are also within easy reach of Shanklin town centre, old village and lovely seafront, so you will have plenty of time to experience all this fabulous town has to offer. Day 1
Days 2-4
Enjoy a traditional English breakfast each day to set you up properly for your day ahead. Your centrally located hotel makes Shanklin easy to explore. You might like to browse the shops in the quaint old town or visit the lovely gardens of the Chine which lead down to the traditional sea front, where an ice cream is good at any time of year, even December!The hotel will be providing a festive food and entertainment package including a fabulous Christmas lunch on Christmas Day whilst entertainment will be provided most evenings. You can spend all of your time in and around Shanklin doing your own thing and enjoying some Christmas treats or join our INCLUDED excursions.
On Christmas Eve, our coach will be available for a morning trip with a circular tour of the island, which boasts 60 miles of spectacular coastline and stunning scenery. We will take in plenty of the magnificent views and famous sights that this fabulous isle has to offer before arriving in the Islands capital of Newport for a wander and the opportunity to pick up any last minute gifts! On Boxing Day morning, we will take a ride to Ryde! Enjoy a stroll along its famous 19th-century pier which is the oldest in England, the long stretch of golden sand, pretty esplanade, marina and beautiful gardens, or admire the many boats moored in the town’s busy harbour.
Day 5
After our final hearty breakfast today it is time to say farewell to the Isle of Wight. We board our coach and head back to East Cowes for the return ferry to the mainland, before a relaxing onward journey home with suitable stops on the way, full of lovely memories.Tour Includes

The impressive colonnaded Guildhall was designed by John Nash and built in 1816, with the clock tower added in 1887 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. It now houses the Museum of Island History and the Tourist Information Centre. Shopping in Newport is a pleasure, and there is no better time to find a seasonal bargain. Next to the pier is the hovercraft terminal with links to the mainland in less than 10 minutes.
