Wrap up and take a walk on the wide beaches, star gaze into clear starry skies and warm up in characterful, cozy pubs and bars. This island is unique and here is your chance to enjoy it at Christmas!
Join us on this exciting new tour for Christmas 2020 as we head north to the pretty, yet relatively undiscovered Isle of Man. We will stay on the seafront in Ramsey and there will be a Christmas Package of celebrations, entertainment, meals and treats. We've lined also up two lovely excursions for you which include the island's capital, Douglas. No visit would be complete without us also spending some time on the famous TT course so we have included a drive along the TT course road to the Tynwald Hill, home to the Manx Parliament. We'll also make a short stop atthe historic fishing port of Peel, famous for its Castle and delicious Manx kippers before heading back to Ramsey.
Our hotel is in a glorious location overlooking the sea in Ramsey and here you can enjoy a programme of Christmas meals, entertainment and inclusions too!

Ramsey Park Hotel
Set in the historic town of Ramsey, and commanding views over Mooragh Lake and Sky Hill, the Ramsey Park offers a high standard of accommodation in a stunning location. Next to the beach and prom and with views towards Scotland and Cumbria, you could find yourself totally switching off during your stay here.
A 32-inch flat-screen TV is provided in each Ramsey Park room, as well as an en suite bathroom and hospitality tray. The are bars and lounges and WiFi throughout the hotel.
Just next to the hotel lies Mooragh Park a popular leisure attraction for visitors and residents alike. With dark skies horizon from the north to South East, it’s the perfect place to admire the stars. Wrap up warm and see what you can discover about the Manx night sky.
After joining the coach at one of convenient local pick up points, we make an early start as we head north towards Liverpool to catch our ferry across the Irish Sea to Douglas. Enjoy the facilities on board before being transferred to our delightful hotel. Check in and maybe take a stroll along the promenade before returning to the hotel for your first delicious dinner.
Days 2 - 4
Enjoy a hearty traditional Manx breakfast every morning along with free time to explore on your own. Make sure you join us for our INCLUDED excursions including a drive along the famous TT course and a visit to Douglas. In the evenings return to the hotel for festive meals and entertainment.
After a final breakfast it is sadly time make our way home. We re-join the ferry back to Liverpool and from there head south back towards Wales and home.
The Isle of Man’s capital, Douglas, is a unique blend of a traditional seaside resort, thriving finance centre and busy working harbour. On the east coast of the Island (between Calf Sound and Ramsey), Douglas is the largest town and offers a wide range of things to see and do. Set against a two-mile sweeping bay and sandy beach, you’ll find the promenades and quay buzzing with activity.
TT Race Circuit Drive & Peel
Today we will take a drive along the TT course road to the Tynwald Hill, home to the Manx Parliament, and we will stop at the pretty fishing village of Peel. Peel enjoys a gorgeous setting that offers a glimpse of the Mountains of Mourne, and some of the best ice cream in the Isle of Man (not sure if you'll be wanting any this time of the year though!). Located on the west coast, Peel is a thriving Manx fishing port with a marine heritage that spans hundreds of years. The magnificent ruins of Peel Castle, located on St Patrick’s Isle, dominate the landscape and you’ll also find the Island’s only cathedral as well as a working kipper curer’s factory which offers insight into the production of the famous Manx Kipper.
On arrival at the hotel enjoy a welcome hot chocolate & mince pies whilst getting to know your hosts for your festive break. This evening enjoy a 3 course dinner while you get into the spirit with a glass of mulled wine and our evening entertainment.
24th December / Christmas Eve:
Start the day with a traditional cooked breakfast before your morning excursion. Back at the hotel you will be served a buffet lunch in the restaurant followed by afternoon tea and coffee. Your afternoon is free for you to enjoy the local surroundings and make use of the hotels facilities before your candle lit evening meal. A relaxing evening is planned with a game of bingo, a festive general knowledge quiz along with our local school choir singing your favourite Christmas Carols. For those wishing to attend you are invited to the local church for midnight mass. Hot Chocolate and mince pies will be waiting for you on your return.
25th December / Christmas Day:
Wake up on Christmas day to a traditional cooked breakfast which will be served between 8am and 10am in the hotel restaurant. Enjoy a leisurely morning stroll, take the time to read, play cards and games before your full traditional Christmas lunch. The afternoon will consist of guess the weight of the Christmas cake competition, a visit from Santa & the Queens speech. A hot and cold buffet will be served for dinner.
26th December / Boxing Day:
Your Boxing Day morning will start with a traditional cooked breakfast served between 8am to 10am before embarking on another excursion. On return to the hotel you will be welcomed with a buffet lunch followed by tea and coffee. Enjoy the afternoon with a drink in the bar whilst we prepare your 4 course candle lit dinner followed by an evening of live entertainment.
One final traditional breakfast before we bid you farewell with fond memories and a safe journey home.
