Sunday 23rd December
We depart South Wales this morning and make our way towards Bournemouth with comfort stops en route.
Arriving at the Roundhouse Hotel later this afternoon, check in with welcome drinks with the hotel manager and staff. This evening, enjoy a 3 course meal followed by tea, coffee and entertainment.
We enjoy a full English Breakfast before joining the coach for our excursion to the Medieval city of Salisbury. Enjoy free time exploring the beautiful city centre or the majestic cathedral or perhaps indulging in a little retail therapy in the many independent shops. Returning to the hotel this afternoon, dinner is served early evening followed by festive entertainment. For those going to midnight mass, mulled wine and mince pies await you on your return.
Join your hosts for breakfast, before enjoying a morning at leisure in the hotel. Why not take a stroll along the cliff tops or the prom to build up the appetite for your Full Traditional Christmas Day Lunch with all the trimmings! Christmas Cake with tea and coffee is served this afternoon. Enjoy a Christmas Buffet this evening followed by more festive entertainment!
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before joining the coach for our excursion to the fabulous harbour and resort town of Weymouth. Dropping off as close to the centre of town as possible, we have free time to explore, grab a coffee in one of the many cafes or just hit the shops for those Boxing Day Sales! This evening your final 3 Course Dinner is served before the last of the festive entertainment!
Thursday 27th December
We bid a sad farewell to the Roundhouse Hotel after breakfast to make our journey home. With stops en route, we aim to be back in South Wales for our first drop off mid afternoon.
With beautiful golden sands, safe shallow waters and action packed events programme and pretty harbourside you certainly won’t be disappointed! Weymouth Beach has also been announced as #1 beach in the UK in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards for 2017 and is also ranked 9th best beach in Europe! You will never be short of things to do in Weymouth, with an abundance of natural and themed attractions for everyone to enjoy! Make sure you stroll round to Weymouth’s beautiful harbour during your visit. This is a great place to while away the hours and watch all the comings and goings...luxury yachts, fishing trawlers and sometimes even tall ships, you’ll be able to watch it all!
Centred on a majestic cathedral that's topped by the tallest spire in England, Salisbury makes an appealing Wiltshire base. It's been an important provincial city for more than a thousand years, and its streets form an architectural timeline ranging from medieval walls and half-timbered Tudor town houses to Georgian mansions and Victorian villas. Salisbury is also a lively, modern town, boasting plenty of bars and restaurants, plus a concentrated cluster of excellent museums.
