Itinerary
Day 1
After joining your coach at your convenient local pick-up point, begin your journey north towards Blackpool making convenient coffee and lunch stops along the way. On arrival at your hotel you will be able to check-in, relax and settle in to enjoy your first delicious dinner followed by bingo and some great entertainment and time to meet your fellow travellers as you look forward to a fabulous festive holiday.
Days 2 to 4
Day 2 - Christmas EveEnjoy breakfast before joining your coach for our included excursion to Liverpool, or just put your feet up and enjoy your time in Blackpool. Our coach will return by about 4pm, ready for the evening's festivities to begin. After a delicious dinner there is lots of entertainment for you to enjoy including bingo, a disco and cabaret entertainment.
Day 3 - Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Enjoy another tasty breakfast before a morning at leisure. Santa arrives at noon with a Christmas gift for everyone (why not have your photo taken?) before a traditional Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings. At 3pm, the King speaks. The celebrations continue into the evening with more bingo, a grand Christmas Day evening buffet, disco and Christmas cabaret.
Day 4 - Boxing Day
After another hearty breakfast, the day is yours to explore Blackpool at your leisure. Make sure you take a walk along the seafront and experience the famous Blackpool Illuminations. Return to your hotel for hot beverages, soup and bread roll at lunchtime. If you're wearing a Christmas Jumper, there'll be a prize for the best one! Day 5
After a final hearty breakfast it is time to say farewell to Blackpool as you board your comfortable coach with time to relax and head home with your great Christmas memories and newly made friends.Liverpool

Blackpool Illuminations
INCLUDED Visitor DestinationThe world-famous Illuminations need little introduction. There are six miles of traditional festoons and tableaux along the Promenade - no wonder it’s commonly known as the greatest free light show on Earth! The first set of Illuminations were introduced when Blackpool Council devoted the sum of £5000 to experiment with the concept of electric street lighting, starting off with eight arc lamps on 60ft poles along the seafront. This installation brought visitors to the seaside resort to see this new electricity at work; the start of the annual influx of tourists that we see today. However, unlike today’s modern day technology with the Illuminations, the lamps used to go out as the tide came in due to water leaking into the cast iron wiring pipes! Each year of the light display is different, with new and favourite lights being maintained and developed. Many famous names have travelled to Blackpool over the years to commemorate the beginning of the annual Illuminations. Celebrities who have pulled the Switch-On lever include comedian Ken Dodd, actor David Tennant, Hollywood film director Tim Burton, actress Lucy Fallon, and even some unlikely names such as Red Rum the race horse and even Kermit the Frog!Tour Includes
