Hundreds of thousands of colourful begonias covering nearly 1,800 square metres create an awe-inspiring display.

Day 1Join your coach at your convenient local pick-up point, and get comfortable as we head to Kent to join our ferry at Dover for the crossing to France.
On arrival in Calais, we continue across France and into Belgium, to arrive at our central hotel in the Brussels. Check in and relax for the evening or pop out to explore some of Brussel's nightlife.
Days 2 & 3Enjoy breakfast every morning along with plenty of free time to explore and relax in Brussels, Belgium’s exciting and cosmopolitan capital city. From stunning architecture and state of the art museums to excellent cuisine and great shopping, there’s plenty to see and do.
Head to the Grote Markt central square, arguably one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, surrounded by impressive merchant guild houses and the magnificent Town Hall. The Grand-Place is transformed into a floral paradise, as it is adorned with a stunning carpet of flowers. Begonias make up the 1,800m squared carpet, which is put together by a group of talented volunteers in just a few hours. They weave over 500,000 of the flowers, along with dahlias, grass and bark, into an intricate and vibrant design, and there is always a special theme for the carpet.
Admire the enchanting display taking in its extraordinary detail and inhaling the fragrant scent. Whether viewed close-up from the cobblestone ground of the square, or from up above on the City Hall balcony, this is an awe-inspiring work of art! A beautiful sound and light show is held every evening, adding to the spectacle.
In addition to the Grand Place, this city has a range of iconic sights, such as the Manneken Pis and the Atomium. You will truly find yourself spoilt for choice when it comes to sightseeing in this multicultural hub. There are almost 90 museums, a number of stunning parks, elaborate churches, and a variety of wonderful restaurants and cafes serving traditional Belgian cuisine.

Day 4After breakfast, say farewell to Brussels and sit back and relax as we head back towards Calais and the crossing back to the UK and the onward journey home.
