You’ll stay at the delightful Suncliff Hotel which not only enjoys fabulous views from its wonderful seafront East Cliff location but also offers leisure facilities including an indoor pool and spa facilities. Our festive Turkey and Tinsel weekend includes a traditional Christmas Dinner and entertainment every evening.
You can have the choice of spending all of your time in Bournemouth or head out on our included excursion. You can sit back and watch the Autumnal highlights of the New Forest roll by as we take a scenic drive with an included stop in the pretty seaside town of Lymington and the delightful village of Lyndhurst. We also include a visit to the historic city of Salisbury on our outward journey.

Itinerary
Day 1
Join your coach at your convenient local pick up point this morning, and sit back as we head to the south coast and the lovely resort of Bournemouth in Dorset. We will make a stop in the stunning cathedral town of Salisbury, known as ‘the city in the countryside’. Here you will have time at leisure to perhaps visit the impressive Cathedral as well as wandering around the heart of this beautiful medieval cathedral city.
Relax and unwind after your journey with a refreshing cup of tea and mince pie in the Lounge & Bar whilst your luggage is delivered to your room. Take time to settle in or perhaps take a stroll for a breath of fresh sea air and views across Bournemouth Bay. Later, a welcome sherry reception is served in the Lounge & Bar where you can meet your fellow guests and staff in comfortable surroundings, before sitting down for dinner in the Restaurant. Later enjoy an evening of fun and music with the hotel's entertainer in the Lounge & Bar.
Days 2 to 3
Enjoy tasty full English breakfast each day, along with dinner each evening. You can also enjoy tea with mince pie on one afternoon day plus entertainment every evening. Our Turkey & Tinsel package will include a Traditional Christmas Dinner on 'Christmas Day' and a chance to sing and dance the night away and see in the 'New Year' with a glass of fizz!
Enjoy time to explore the resort including beautiful sandy blue flag beaches, museums, galleries, amusement arcades and fabulous shopping opportunities. There is nothing quite like wrapping up warm and sitting on the seafront with a nice cup of tea and just watching the world go by. You could also just decide to stay in the hotel and enjoy the facilities including the Indoor swimming pool or lounge bar. Maybe treat yourself to a Dorset Cream Tea!
You can choose to either spend all your time enjoying the delights of Bournemouth at your own pace or join our INCLUDED excursion as we drive through the scenic New Forest which should have some lovely Autumnal tints at this time of the year. We include a stop in the Georgian market town of Lymington and Lyndhurst, known as the capital of the New Forest since William the Conqueror established it as a royal hunting ground in 1079.
Day 4
After a final hearty breakfast it is time to say farewell today. Board your comfortable coach for a relaxing journey home with suitable stops on the way, full of fun memories.
Salisbury

Bournemouth
Bournemouth is the largest resort in Dorset and along with seven miles of sandy beaches also has beautiful parks and gardens. You’re sure to find plenty of things to do while exploring this coastal town, with lots of attractions, activities, entertainment and adventure to keep all ages entertained. With great shopping and dining experiences there really is something for all ages and budgets.
Beneath the magnificent cliffs you’ll find Bournemouth’s award winning beaches and world-class seafront. From family attractions and a historic house museum to picturesque walks and outdoor activities – as well as restaurants and bars – Bournemouth’s coastline is the jewel in its crown. Beach huts are a very British tradition that actually originated in Bournemouth in 1908 - you can even rent the world’s oldest beach hut!
