Situated on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, and a gateway town for exploring the Jurassic Coast, the fun family resort of Swanage is ideal place to visit. The gently sloping, golden sand and clear unpolluted water of Swanage Beach and Bay are just some of the great reasons that it has been awarded a Blue Flag and Seaside Award. This resort also benefits from some of the south coast’s best weather throughout the year, which is lucky because there is so much to explore and do from Durlston Castle and Country Park with its spectacular clifftop walks through to Swanage Pier and the town’s very own heritage trail.
Poole is a resort for all seasons and the perfect choice for making unforgettable holiday memories. A bustling tourist resort known for Europe’s largest natural harbour, award winning blue flag beaches including the world famous Sandbanks Beach, a bustling quayside and a beautiful historic old town. With Poole’s natural coastal setting you are sure to find plenty of superb beachside cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars making it a great place to relax with friends.
Christchurch with its choice of award winning beaches, coastal nature reserves, heritage attractions and charming quay offers a great excursion destination. Two picturesque rivers, a stunning natural harbour, outdoor Splashpark and wonderful beaches offer the ideal holiday playground. The historic Priory Church and Castle ruins help give an olde worlde charm to the attractive, bustling town centre with its range of independent shops, high street stores and regular markets, together with a packed events calendar there really is something for everyone!
The New Forest
Enjoy a scenic tour through the New Forest and step back in time to discover the charm and natural beauty of this unique destination. The New Forest became a national park in 2005 and was once a royal hunting ground for William the Conqueror. It covers an area of 566 square kilometres and is made up of vast tracts of unspoilt woodland, heathland and river valleys. Today deer, ponies and cattle continue to roam free in its ancient heaths and woodland, so keep your eyes peeled!
