Itinerary

Day 1

Join your comfortable coach at your convenient local pick up point this morning, and head to the 'Vegas of the North' - action packed Blackpool! On arrival enjoy time to settle in and perhaps enjoy a breath of sea air and stroll down the prom, or jump on a tram for a great overview of the whole seafront. Make sure you have time for a drink in the bar to meet new friends before enjoying your first evening meal. Your amazing £1 bar gives you selected drinks between 6pm and 8pm every night!) Then sit back and enjoy the fabulous entertainment that Blackpool and your hotel is so famous for!

Days 2 - 4

Your centrally located hotel means you are right in the heart of the action in the seaside town that rarely sleeps! So make sure you explore and enjoy every moment with a trip to the beach (which might come with fish & chips or an ice cream!), a ride along the prom on a traditional tram, take a wander down your favourite pier or make a visit to the must see Blackpool Tower.

Day 5

Traditional seaside amusements await; stroll down the UK’s oldest iron pier and try the old penny slot machines in the Pavilion at the far end, or ride traditional carousels at Funland. At the Marine Lake, you'll find a choice of water based activities to keep the whole family entertained. The classic seaside resort has scenic parks and gardens, fabulous shopping, exciting nightlife and a mouth-watering array of restaurants. Inspired by European style food markets, Southport Market is home to some great food vendors and a central bar, and a great place to spend time relaxing. It is even rumoured that Napoleon III was so impressed with elegant Lord Street during his time living in Southport, that the great boulevards of Paris were modelled on it! The Victorian canopied boulevard edged with scenic gardens is full of speciality shops and designer boutiques and a must see for its beauty and of course shopping!

Embsay to Bolton Railway, Skipton Market & Canal

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationEnjoy a visit to the lovingly restored Victorian and Edwardian Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway. Departing from either Embsay or Bolton Abbey, you’ll travel in one of a number of vintage carriages of different eras and styles, with two time-warp stations to explore at either end, each with little shops, cafes, and exhibitions.

Continue to the pretty market town of Skipton. As the gateway to the magnificent Yorkshire Dales, with its famous 900 year old castle, romantic ruined priory and historic cobbled High Street it is a delight to explore. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday's see the town come to life with its popular market. If you like a bargain, love finding unusual treasures, are partial to some delicious local produce or just love the atmosphere of a market in full swing, then you won't be disappointed. Traders arrive in the town centre and set up stalls along each side of the wide High Street, bringing with them everything from cheeses to scarves, local meat to arts & crafts, shoes & boots to Yorkshire made blankets.
