The high-tech adrenaline of its famed Pleasure Beach amusement park, it’s three distinctive piers dotted along the golden beach and remember to pick up a stick of Blackpool rock.
There is a fabulous range of activities available if you are looking for something different. Blackpool Zoo, The Model Village and the Dungeons to name a few. If you need to do some shopping, Freeport is only a short tram ride away. In the evening, why not pop into Blackpool Tower and enjoy a waltz in the ballroom? Blackpool’s charm is its defiant embrace of the seaside holiday. It offers a mix of thrills, fun, laughs, and relaxation. What more could you want?

The Calypso Hotel, Blackpool
This property is 4 minutes walk from the beach. In Blackpool’s town centre, Calypso Hotel has free Wi-Fi in public areas and a 24-hour bar. Blackpool Tower and the Winter Gardens are a 2-minute walk away. The Cabaret Lounge offers entertainment, including music, dancing and games. Each en suite room at The Calypso has toiletries, towels, fresh crisp white bed linen, a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The Promenade is 2 minutes’ walk away from the property and Houndshall shopping mall is a few steps away.
After joining the coach, we head towards our destination that will have coffee/lunch stops along the way. We expect to arrive at our hotel late afternoon.
Traditional English breakfast followed by free time in the resort. Dinner and entertainment at the hotel.
After breakfast, we make our way home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, we continue homewards.
Blackpool is a seaside resort on the Irish Sea coast of England. It's known for Blackpool Pleasure Beach, an old-school amusement park with vintage wooden roller coasters. Built in 1894, the landmark Blackpool Tower houses a circus, a glass viewing platform and the Tower Ballroom, where dancers twirl to the music of a Wurlitzer organ. Blackpool Illuminations is an annual light show along the Promenade.
