Plan My Trip

Day 1

Join your comfortable coach this morning and head straight for bustling Birmingham and arguably the largest Christmas Market in the UK. This one is directly from Frankfurt, and offers the best in German tradition, food and twinkling Christmas chalets. Enjoy free time to browse at your leisure and soak up the atmosphere and festive entertainment. Alternatively you can visit the famous Birmingham Bullring, one of the UK’s most visited shopping centres located in the very heart of the city.

We will give you time into early evening to enjoy the Christmas Market and centre of Birmingham, maybe also having a meal at one of the many restaurants or cafes in the city centre or the food stalls at the Christmas Market itself. We will then head for a later check in to your modern hotel on the outskirts of Birmingham to relax ahead of more festive fun tomorrow.

Day 2

After a filling breakfast get ready for another fun day in the heart of Birmingham, whether you want to venture back into the magical Christmas Market, make the most of the great shopping or explore some history and heritage (we recommend the fascinating Jewellery Quarter). This afternoon it is time to join your coach and head homewards with time to relax with your fabulous festive memories.

Birmingham & Frankfurt Christmas Market

INCLUDED Visitor DestinationBirmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market is the largest traditional German-style Christmas Market outside of Austria and Germany and is packed full of continental festive fayre and traditional goods that are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. From the traditional German bratwurst sausage and gluehwein stands through to the intricate lacework, porcelain and handmade gifts, you may have to step back and remind yourself you are in this modern metropolis which is transformed into a quaint German Christmas world. Over the years, Birmingham's singing Christmas moose (Chris Moose) has become a Christmas attraction in his own right. Located directly in front of the Council House entrance, the singing moose (Chris to his mates) guarantees a Christmassy atmosphere and a lot of fun for young and old. Carols in the City as well as daily bands on the Christmas market stage create a romantic Christmas atmosphere. Enjoy a hot mug of Glühwein while listening to traditional Christmas songs or great Jazz music.

Away from the market, you can explore the famous Bullring and Grand Central for the ultimate shopping and dining experience - it has the UK's biggest Primark with the world's biggest Greggs! Alternatively discover the thriving Jewellery Quarter with over 700 jewellers and independent retailers including museums and great places to eat and drink.
