Bideford is an attractive town on the west bank of the River Torridge, where the river begins to widen to form the estuary. The old road has a lovely old bridge crossing the Torridge linking the town of Bideford to its neighbouring village East the Water. It’s easy to see why Bideford is so popular as the narrow streets cascade from its historic Pannier Market towards the quayside. Charles Kingsley’s description of Bideford as “The Little White Town, which slopes upward from its broad river tide”, paints a picturesque 150 year old image of the town that has not changed much to the present day.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Bude & Boscastle
A scant few miles from the Devon border, Bude is a breezy seaside town with a bevy of impressive beaches, as well as a lovely seawater lido built in the 1930s. There is alittle quaint market town to do some shopping but the real reason to stop by is the stunning coastline on its doorstep.
Boscastle National Trust harbour nestles in a scenic rocky inlet on the dramatic north coast of Cornwall. To really appreciate the beauty of Boscastle, take a short walk in any one of four directions, all of which allow you a different perspective on this striking harbour and its coastline. You will have ample time to explore!
This seaside town is home to renowned artist Damien Hirst’s famous 20m high sculpture, Verity, and a collection of local galleries featuring a mix of local and international artists. For creative entertainment, check out the programme at Ilfracombe’s Landmark Theatre, ranging from vintage festivals to internationally acclaimed music, drama and comedies. Ilfracombe’s reputation as the culinary and cultural centre of North Devon has been steadily growing for the past few years, with people now calling it the new St. Ives. This picturesque harbour town is also steeped in maritime history and remains one of the key working fishing ports in North Devon, reflected in the local menus. Try the restaurants on ‘foodie’ Fore Street and around the Harbour menus featuring seasonal, local produce.
