Join us on this great Easter break to Babbacombe, a magical spot on the English Riviera at any time of year with an excursion to Exeter thrown in too!
Stay right on the seafront with easy access to all of the great beaches and fantastic attractions that this great seaside resort has to offer. When you get hungry there is a fabulous choice of fresh local fish and seafood to tempt your taste buds. A break here at any time of year is the perfect way to relax and unwind. Babbacombe is ripe for exploring with a bracing walk along Babbacombe Downs - the highest cliff-top promenade in England. From these cliffs, you can take in the spectacular coastline of South Devon.
For a leisurely day out, a trip on the Babbacombe Cliff Railway takes you to Oddicombe Beach. Here the kids can play in the sea to their heart’s content. For adrenaline junkies, there are plenty of other activities such as coasteering and sailing to take part in too. Experience the charming village of Babbacombe and be enchanted by its stunning views. Boasting a delightful alternative to the hustle and bustle of Torquay, there are plenty of things to do in Babbacombe for all ages.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
A warm welcome awaits you at this 80 bedded, all en-suite, sea front hotel, offering friendly and comfortable surroundings and beautiful sea views. The hotel enjoys a level position directly on the sea front overlooking the famous Babbacombe Downs with super live entertainment.
After joining the coach at one of our convenient local pick-up points, we head south towards pretty Babbacombe with convenient coffee/lunch stops along the way. We expect to arrive at our seafront hotel in the late afternoon. Check-in, unpack and maybe take a stroll along the promenade before enjoying a delicious dinner at our hotel followed by amazing entertainment.
Days 2 - 3
Enjoy hearty traditional English breakfasts every day along with free time to explore Babbacombe on your own. Make sure you don't miss out on our INCLUDED excursion to Exeter and return to the hotel every evening for more tasty dinners and fabulous entertainment.
After a final breakfast it is sadly already time to make our way home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, we continue homewards.
Exeter is an ancient city dating back to the Roman era. The Exeter City Walls surround its centre and Gothic Exeter Cathedral. Exeter Castle, a Norman landmark, overlooks leafy Northernhay and Rougemont Gardens. To their west, the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery (RAMM) displays fine art and costumes. The vaulted, medieval Underground Passages snake beneath the city making this a fascinating city to explore at any time of the year.
