Andre Rieu, Live In His Hometown Of Maastricht 2027

Itinerary

Day 1

Join your coach at your convenient local pick-up point, and get comfortable as we head to Dover for the crossing to France.

On arrival in Calais, we continue the short journey to Belgium and your comfortable hotel for the next 3 nights.

Day 2

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel.

We leave the hotel with a lunch stop on the way as we then head accross the border into The Netherlands to reach Andre Rieu's home town of Maastricht. The concert starts at 9:00pm but we aim to arrive late afternoon so that you have time to explore the city and also get some food and drink before the concert starts..

*Please note that this is an outdoor concert with no tiered seating, which will start at approximately 9pm and finish at about 11.45pm. As soon as possible once the concert ends, the coach will take you back to our hotel arriving around 1.30am subject to traffic.

This tour is not recommended for children under age 14, sorry.

Day 3

After a leisurely start, you can enjoy breakfast. Later on, you can hop on back on board the coach for our included excursion to La Roche en Ardenne and Durbuy

Return back to the hotel with a final evening free to enjoy at leisure.

Day 4

After a final breakfast, say farewell to your hotel and sit back and relax as we head back towards Calais and the ferry crossing back to the UK and the onward journey home. We would expect to arrive back mid-evening subject to traffic.

Maastricht

Maastricht is a beautiful city to visit, filled with history, art and culture. It is a city surrounded by beautiful nature set in the south of Holland and boasting beautiful historic little districts, welcoming and exceptionally good restaurants and eateries, and plenty of art and attractions. And the best thing is that you can see the entire city centre on foot. Maastricht is also a city of indulgence and culinary highlights. There are pleasant lunchrooms, Michelin-starred restaurants and an extensive range of excellent regional products and dishes. In short, ‘bons vivants’ should not miss out on Maastricht!

La Roche en Ardenne & Durbuy

Discover two of Belgium’s prettiest towns on a delightful day excursion into the heart of the Ardennes.

Our first stop is La Roche-en-Ardenne, a charming riverside town surrounded by wooded hills and beautiful countryside. Overlooking the town are the atmospheric ruins of its medieval castle, while below you’ll find inviting cafés, shops and picturesque streets to explore. Take time for a leisurely stroll beside the River Ourthe or simply relax and enjoy the scenery.

We then continue to Durbuy, often described as one of Belgium’s most beautiful small towns. With its cobbled lanes, traditional stone buildings and attractive setting beside the River Ourthe, Durbuy is packed with character. Wander through the historic centre, browse the independent shops, stop for a Belgian beer or something sweet, and soak up the relaxed atmosphere.

Combining wonderful scenery with two enchanting Ardennes towns, this is a lovely day out in Belgium.
